The commentator first said McShane was 26 years old, now he's just said he is 36.

So I had to check, turns out he is 28
I like Pearce because hes enthusiastic and has a good commentators voice, but when you really listen to him he really talks a lot of shite.

Most underrated commentator for me is Peter Drury. Somehow he's restricted to only doing the global stuff for the Premier League these days as ITV appear to prefer Sam "I feel the need to fill every void with random trivia" Matterface and Clive "I'm actually not very good but I'm the only person that can tolerate Andy Townsend" Tyldsley.

How I miss Barry Davies though...

all the big guns are through, so expect a couple of PL teams to clash in the next round. We might even end up facing Manure or Chelscum.

No, I'd say we should expect one of us and Liverpool to get knocked out Mondat night. And sadly, this weekend has only showcased how stale the competition is, to the extent that I'm not sure I'd be disappointed if we go out!

One of the very best. Class act, great quotes, good voice for commentary.

Skrtl tries to block Akinfenwa running to the ball who shrugs him off and ref gives the beast a yellow.

Skrtl wasn't even trying for the ball

This Wimbledon team probably cost 50p and a mars bar and yet they are better at corners than us.

Really uninspiring 4th round draw. Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arse and Liverpool all kept apart and with easy draws. Only potential upset looks like Bournemouth at Villa, but with only 8 league places between them does that even count as an upset?

Really good effort from Wimbeldon last night. Used to hate them in their 90s 'Crazy Gang' era... but this incarnation, the way the club has risen from just a bunch of fans kicking about in a park, to FA Cup ties against the likes of Liverpool, is nothing short of fairy tale stuff. Looked like a cracking atmosphere in their little ground, and they properly gave the scousers the run around. Sakho knew he'd been in a game after that.

Trust me, there's a very BIG chance that United could end up being the big upset of the round.
On their day Cambridge are a very good side, and the Abbey Stadium is a tight little ground with a good/loud atmosphere.
Their players have all experienced massive games in the last 12 months, winning twice at Wembley, so they won't be in awe of what they are up against.
It certainly won't be a walk in the park for Man Utd.

The wife is just hoping Cambridge season ticket holders can buy an extra ticket.
She went on Saturday with her dad for the 3rd round game...

Without meaning to belittle the way they rose through the divisions, when they first formed and held open trials on Wimbledon Common over 200 people turned up including players who had been released from league and Premier League academies. So they had an advantage over a lot of clubs at the level they started out at. But still, to go up the leagues at the rate they did was hugely impressive.

I also like the way it flies in the face of the influence money has on the game, in that the original club legged up the M1 for the finances, and yet this new club has so quickly become embraced as "Wimbledon" after being put together by the fans. With their modest yet good plans for a new Plough Lane, last night will have brought them one step closer to being fully established. Living in the area I think it's pretty good to see these regeneration plans.

Just stumbled upon something which could really cause issues for the 5th Round and Quarter Finals of the FA Cup.

If ourselves, Liverpool or Everton are involved in a 5th Round replay, then there seems to be no way of getting it played before the QF weekend.

R5 is scheduled for 14/15 Feb.

The following fixtures are already pencilled in for the midweek windows between the 5th Round and the QFs:

w/c 16 Feb - Europa Lge R32 1st Leg

w/c 23 Feb - Europa Lge R32 2nd Leg

w/c 2 March - full programme of EPL fixtures.

Although we're obviously a little way off from any of the Europa League teams needing a R5 Replay, it does appear that the FA Cup scheduling has been done with absolutely no consideration for when the ties may actually get concluded (as was the case this weekend).

Jags and Distin play like they are 50 years old all the sudden....dramatic change in their play since last season.
