Well surely he’s gone when the window closes?

I know a lot of people saying Ragnick, but I’d love Michael Edwards if he’s willing to come back.
Rangnick would want total control which Levy would never give him. Also his “brand” was damaged in this country by the United tenure.

Edwards has worked with Levy before so knows the problems it comes with and turned down a king’s ransom from Chelsea last year. Seriously doubt he’s coming back to football any time soon and certainly not with us.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they promote Steinsson.

Hiring Ralf would be interesting. Of course he'd probably fuck off in a record time after Levy once again interferes with the transfers.

Don't fancy Rangnick. He was done dirty at United, but even so he's 64 now and feels like a man in the twilight of his career. Most of his footballing innovations are decades old, and his successes as a DoF were under the very specific Red Bull umbrella in Germany/Austria.

Doesn't feel like the type of guy we need now to take the club forward, and would be the DoF equivalent of getting in Jose as manager. He's yesterday's man.

Transfer ownership of the stadium to Hottingham Topspurs FC Ltd tomorrow! Wipe the slate clean! We can go back to playing in chocolate brown and gold.
Can we drop Spurs from the name, can't call us Spursy if we're no longer called Spurs

If true he will be off. And rightly so.

Just hope it doesn't affect the big week ahead too much as it will obviously have some impact.

Bet you anything we make a statement on his departure from the club within days or maybe even hours of the window closing.

If thats the case id expect him to see out this window then leave. Hopefully he could line up a few things first. Makes me very concerned for the summer. We really can't go back to Levy being the chief negotiator.
To be fair mate we've started to use outside negotiators more and more over the last couple of years, so could always go down this route as far as that side of things is concerned. the real issue is who is choosing these players and once the negotiation is at an actual bidding point Levy still tries to come in under what we know gets it done.

Feels like a massive can of worms here, as football isn't exactly known for its whiter than white transfer or commercial dealings...

I always wondered how you can fudge transfer fees in football; it is all rather hard to prove. I don't know the specifics of the case, but for them to reopen it with new evidence and press ahead with the charges must mean this is pretty clear-cut.

I think the big problem this would have is a delay in the appointment of the manager. You could not pick a new manager then a DOF, with Conte seemingly off as well we would more than likely have an extended caretaker position. But knowing us we will move to a non DOF model again!!!

But under no circumstances should Paratici be employed by the Football club.

This is my biggest concern tbh. Who is going to be picking the players. Say what you want about him but so far, on the whole, he’s earmarked a lot of good players including ones we haven’t got. You would have a better idea of everyone, but certainly a large number of the publicly known ones are very interesting players. I dread to think if we go back to a situation where it’s Levy Vs the manager picking our players

How about if he appeals and the ban is overturned?
