Where did you get that? So they're going to have a 35min break before actually starting the ceremony? I guess that's so anyone who needs the loo and food/drink can take care of that and the players can get washed and changed
I've heard they will bring on massive screens for each stand, showing memorable stuff of the lane, timescale looks right and maybe bring on players for each subject?

Their fervent live following would disagree. They may trade bootlegs of seminal Glenn and Chris gigs: supporting Marillion at Aylesbury Friars, their acoustic set at the Wolverhampton Civic or the epic all-day headlining performance at the Freikorperkultur Festival in Lower Saxony. There are even a few VHS recordings, changing hands among the cognoscenti for insane prices. But they all insist that there's absolutely no substitute for having been there.
I recall Glenn and Chris when they supported Lindesfarne at a gig in the North East. Legend has it that a young Paul Gascoigne was in the audience that night and the combination of headline and support act influence his decision to join Spurs and his subsequent cover of ‘Fog on the Tyne’. That’s how I remember it anyway. (I actually do remember seeing Marillion in Aylesbury way back when. Still love them).

I think it was more likely to have been the big loan the club gave to Gazza that he didn't have to pay back that secured him?

Has anyone seen the ending to the film "Grimsby"? I reckon Judas could make an appearance if we did the same thing with a rocket

All I know is the start of whatever they do will be delayed that's for sure.
I say this as I'm sure they will be a friendly pitch invasion.
My boy and I are def going on! Chance to walk on that pitch for the last time ever and grab a few player selfies for the lad!
Sorry. But it's happening.

I would expect the usual faces who still work for the Club like Ledley, Mabbutt, Roberts, Hoddle, Ozzie etc.

Who do you think we'll see apart from that?

I'd love to see VDV and Martin Jol.

Maybe Bale as he's injured. I'm guessing we'll see Defoe as he's playing Saturday. Robbie and Berbatov? Teddy? Houghton?

my favourite memories at the Lane was the Uefa Cup final - singing one Danny Thomas as he made his way back to the centre circle still gets me all emotional. Would love to see him there on sunday

Nothing planned. 'We're not leaving, see you in a year.'

This is my take . We aren't going anywhere . If I understand it right , part of our current pitch will be used in the new stadium pitch.
How are we leaving White Hart Lane when our address will still be White Hart Lane ?

I'm firmly in the Ship of Theseus camp and will call it NWHL instead of the Haribo Arena by Gola at Sodexo Leisure Park, but as a point of pedantry the address is not and has never been White Hart Lane.

On a slightly sour note, those harpies, sorry club partners, stubhub, have a competition to win tickets for Sunday. Just look at this hidden in the terms and conditions. The winners must agree to let stubhub take over their social media accounts and use your photos, in fact they can change pics of you and do anything they want with them, for ever. Slimy naffers. Just have a competition and be done with it, should be a give away to the winner not some creepy contract:

  1. Media and marketing: The Winner must be prepared, on request by Sponsor, to take part in all publicity, advertising and

promotional activities related to the Competition, including without limitation: (i) filming; (ii) interviews; (iii) being featured in prints and/or digital articles; and/or (iv) social media activities promoting Sponsor (and/or StubHub), the StubHub Site(s), including by posting about their win on Facebook® and/or Twitter® (as reasonably directed by the Sponsor). Refusal to take part in such activities, may result in Winner forfeiting the Prize and Sponsor selecting a new Winner. Further, by accepting the Prize, the Winner consents to the use of his/her name for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes (off line and online) by Sponsor, or a party designated by Sponsor in connection with the Competition.

  2. Intellectual property rights: By entering, Participants unconditionally assign and transfer to Sponsor all rights, title and interest in and to his/her entry including all materials and/or content provided in connection with his/her participation in the Competition (“Participant Content”). Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to edit, composite, morph, scan, duplicate, broadcast, publish or otherwise use (and authorise others to use) the Participant Content for any purpose which Sponsor deems necessary or desirable including on Sponsor’s websites, in film and other broadcasts, and through social media channels (including but not limited to Facebook® and Twitter®), and each Participant irrevocably waives any and all so-called moral rights he/she may have in such Participant Content.

I heard a rumour that at the end of the farewell event, we'll get Sissoko to maraud down the right hand side one more time, without stopping, thus negating the need for any bulldozing of the Paxton End.

I don't know the answer, but what was the common name of that 'lane by the White Hart', before it was renamed Bill Nicholson Way?

The old club offices had a High Rd postal address, but if you had wanted to post yourself to a game..., you would not want to end up in an office. In any case, it wouldn't be big enough to hold that many people.
For your convenience and to avoid the crush, you would want the postie to walk up that 'lane by the White Hart', and push you through the turnstile. "Turnstile G, White Hart Lane" for example would have been an effective address in my opinion.

Incidentally, to avoid relegation, Sissoko is thought to have posted himself to us. He's a big lad, and there were an awful lot of stamps on the box as you can imagine. This is where the misunderstanding about his actual worth comes from. True story.

Probably a daft question, but does anyone think there is any chance whatsoever that you might get to sneak in after the match if you don't have tickets? My mates and I couldn't get tickets, but are going up to watch the game in a local pub. Be brilliant if we could get in.
