Could well be that players get far too well paid in the Premier league. Only the top European sides can afford to match them unfortunately. No idea what Faz is on now, but you can bet it was substantially more than he was getting at Sevilla when we bought him.

We really need to shift him and either promote CCV or get in another CB. Disappointing how quiet things have gone in terms of him leaving.

I'm not a big fan of Fazio. In fact I wonder which members of the scouting staff thought he'd do well here. Having said that, surely we can post his name correctly in this forum? It's only polite. His first name is 'Federico' - not 'Frederico'. Can someone fix this? Please.

Not really much help, as we're missing a Left sided CB, and with Fazio's turning circle you don't really want him on the wrong side. Dier plays right side too, but is a tad more agile, and after his stint in CM should be more adept at playing LCB.
Wimmer is quality though, so no issue (as long as he stays fit...)

Can't Davies play LCB as well ? Think he played there on occasion for Swansea.

Think he has played there in emergency In the past.
Maybe for Wales too when he and Taylor have played together.
I'm still of the opinion that he isn't even half as bad as many people seem to think.
People that can't get past the opinion that speed is the most important trait in a footballer.
I'm not suggesting he should be starting games, but I also wouldn't be too concerned if he got some game time.
