Jesus wept! They probably like Levy a bit more after he saved them £20m and 5 months wages while rehabbing an injured player
So is Bats coming or not?How many times does it need to be said that Bats doesn't want to come.

Money whores. Unfortunately that is what world football has become.Loads
On a slightly relevant note, if these young players can't see how if they decide to go to Chelsea for the money then they deserve seeing their careers stall. Chelsea should not be on the radar of any young player who genuinely wants to progress.
We will be in trouble if Kane and Son get injured yes. How far do you go? Do we account for Kane, Son, and the new backup striker getting injured?
All I'm saying is, it's a waste of time having a backup that can only play one position. He'll rarely play and when he does he'll be out of form, he'll be called a waste of time and people will be clamouring for the next one.
There are though, several aspects that are hard to understand in hindsight.Bingo. It really isn't hard to understand.
J rod would be absoloutley ideal.Bingo. It really isn't hard to understand.
I suspect Daniel’s obsession? There are though, several aspects that are hard to understand in hindsight.
Why buy Llorente in the first place if we would be so golden with only Kane and Son?
Why all the fuzz kicking Janssen out on a loan to make room for Llorente, when we didn't really want to delve too deeply into how to use Llorente?
Why get an injured forward back with no fruitful experience since August, rather than developing him as things were?
The entire Llorente-story is a farce, and it's not down to the players abilities.
Sadly, I very much believe this was a contributing factor. Doing a deal simply because one can.I suspect Daniel’s obsession?

He was signed to give us a different option. So this argument immediately falls flat on its faceFWIW I think Llorente will stay this Jan but who is actually making these signings? Apart from some experience, above average looks and one good game away to R.Madrid he’s offered fuck all which is what I thought would be the case. He’s a proven good player but completely not what we needed. Kane is a very mobile striker, not hugely but enough pace, strength and movement to play that role for us, Llorente just doesn’t suit us at all and if 99% of us on here could see that then why the fuck did we sign him? Beggars belief to be honest. Either he was a last minute option that we thought was a coin toss to being more effective than Janssen or Poch and/or the scouts have no clue on picking a good player who will suit us which I find strange so my money is on it was a last minute jobby which didn’t work out which we are now trying to rectify.

I for one have never tried to profess that Levy isn't contradicting himself. But does that not somewhat contradict the whole "Levy is a tight **** & only cares about bean counting" stance that so many seem to have?
Surely someone so tight & money obsessed isn't going to buy a player, any player, just because he can?

On serious note, I think Levy likes the game, the back and forth in dealing. And sometimes, do I believe that maybe it is possible that his judgment is clouded by his love for haggling, yeah maybe I do.
