The commentators are about 2 seconds ahead of the video...

They just fixed it, hence the commentator said "went for the drive!" twice lol

Japan to beat Brasil 2nite, Japan v Spain final.
Has to be the worst Brasil side I can remember, not a chance of them winning a world cup with clowns who can't defend in Alves, Luiz & Marcello in back 4
Really, no chance of winning a world cup?

Leandro
Neymar-------------Lucas--
Oscar
Sandro - Ramires
Luiz - Dante - Silva - Alves
Cesar
Options off the bench: Jefferson, Diego Alves, Marcelo, Marquinhos, Rafael, Paulinho, Fernandinho, Ronaldinho, Bernard, Hulk, Costa, Fred
Now at the back they don't have many options but Fernandinho probably be in there over one of the 2 DM's. If Bernard and Paulinho do well they will have great options off the bench. Leandro probably the weakest in the line up, i think this will come good and click together in the build up like Germany 2006

Whys the game not on? Just Andy feckin Murray!!

Because the BBC in their infinite wisdom decided that a repeat of the trooping of the colour was more important than the tennis so they shunted it onto BBC three instead. At least it cut off the opinions of Robbie Savage and Alan Shearer though.

Is it me or is the commentary well ahead of the picture?

The pitch is bad, every pass bobbling across the turf. I play on park pitches that are of better standard!

Yep still stand by that Defence nowhere good enough 2 win world cup, u mention fernandinho marquinhos Rafael but quess what there not in the squad & u can only judge on team manager picks & that team haven't a chance of winning a world cup, that pairing in midfield I've never seen 2 brasillian midfielders pass a ball backwards or sideways as much in my life when u compare the the scintequential cm for Brasil in the past Socrates to those 2 they wouldn't b fit to polish his boots,
Dani Alves is Kyle walker on crack absolute headcase, marcelo another headbanger & as bozo the clown at centre half u might as well ask the village idiot to play.
Hulk can't be relied on 1 minute he looks great the next he looks like emile heskey, if u think u can win a world cup with that lot u need to get a grip, no top class striker Fred is a good finisher but for rest of time he might as well not b playing.
Only Thiago silva Oscar & Neymar that played tonight are Top class.
Disappointed in Japan they looked like a side in pre-season, Definately still the worst Brasil team I've ever seen & that will b proved when they meet Germany or Spain at next summers real showtime

Let's hope BBC sort their sound out by next summer, brutal again tonight. Should be 2 tastey games tonight. Come on Mexico!

Sound quality is awful. Midfield heavy line up for Italy, and 4 at the back rather than 3, lets see how this goes.

Forza Azzurri!

It is worth noting for those wondering about Giovanni, that he is looking very likely to be playing at Valencia next season

Not entirely the BBC's fault as the media infrastructure in Brazil isn't very good. Apparently the Brazilian GP is one of the most problematic for broadcasters.

Balotelli trying to do a bit too much at times, looks lively otherwise

That was a blatant pen, poor decision.

ESPN has this announcer for the Mexican squad. He's awful. He struggles with the English language and has all these weird, broken sentences where he has to think of what he wants to say.

That keeper pulled out of the save. There is no doubt about it!
