I watched a vid someone sent me on Kane, it was a little highlight reel of his season and how it started and finished etc

One thing that stood out was the amount of times he put Reggie in on goal and the amount of times Reggie missed..... this guy would be burying those and many, many more. Not sure on the defensive side of his game but if we also get Bastoni he wont have to worry about that too much in the majority of games.

My God im excited for next season
Ironically I was watching a Fraser Forster compilation and saw Kane putting Reguillon 1v1 with Forster only for him to blast it straight at the keeper. We lost that game 2-3

In terms of tackling roughly 60 games next season, I don’t think we can do much better than Sess and Kostic. Would be extremely happy if those were our LWB options. Perfect mix of youth and experience, and with Kostic’s age and Sess’ injury history, neither should be playing two games a week very often.

One thing I would say is that Regi's explosive pace got himself in the position for many good scoring opportunities, so even though they were wasted opportunities it's debatable whether other not-so-quick players would have been able to get themselves into those positions.

It would be nice to finally have a wingback who has pace, crossing ability and doesn't look like a complete wimp. From the highlight reels, I can see why Conte allegedly wants him.

Do we think we are really after this guy or is he just one of the players on Paratici’s list. Seems awful early to be getting down the road with actual signings without doing a bit of faffing around first.

No need to faff. We've got the money, he's a very reasonable price and I'm sure he'd be happy to join.

Alasdair golds latest video he said that the feeling is that reguilon will be off if there’s a buyer as sessegnon is the one contes likes
Wasn’t there talk of Real activating their buy back clause for Reggie?

Conte will likely want at least 3 (maybe even more) in before the squad go to Korea for the tour, which is 10th July I think, 40-odd days may feel like a long time but when you've got outgoings etc going on too it can never be too early

No chance getting 30m for Reguilon, maybe 20m at best but that would still be good business
Why….

Agreed, I really think people would underestimate just how good Regis movement is

I think the injuries are a big concern and I don't think the clubs that would be interested in him are going to be looking to spend that much. Although it's always possible there could be some add ons that could take it that way but they'll be unlikely ones like with Dele.

I should probably have said intensity/pace of league adaptation due to spending nearly 10 years in German football. I don’t have any worry about him falling off a cliff athletically for at least 3-4 years. The playing time still stands though in my eyes. The players in this position in Conte’s system make the most sprints and play at a higher intensity for the most part than the rest of the team. Should be heavy rotation in the four competitions and I think Conte knows this.

Real Madrid and Barca? That’s who he’s linked with.

It’s a perfect blend of options I think. Kostic can play in the games where we need more attacking output and Sessegnon has proven to be perfect for the games against the big sides as he’s able to pocket the best wingers defensively 1v1 and his engine, pace and runs off the ball have been a great outlet in those matches also. Would be over the moon with those 2 as our LWB options
