I think mine was 1966.

My Dad took me to see a reserve game the week before to see if I liked it. It was of course prompted by my Mum who was a huge Spurs fan as was my Dad.

I loved the white shirts and went with him the next week for a first team game.

I think we played Blackpool and drew 1 - 1 but don't quote me on that.

Should have won the double in 66/67.

I think it was a friendly VS Lazio after World Cup 98 because Simone got some grief.

But he smiled and waved, and the fans loved him for that.

1997 away to Cov. It was Steffen Iversen's debut and Andy Sinton scored the winner.

First home game was NYD 2005 against Everton. Epic win with 2 wonder goals from boy wonder Dean Marney!

1999... shocking performance 3-2 defeat to Leicester. I think Muzzy Izzet ran riot that day, should've known then supporting spurs would be painful

24th January 1998. The gripping FA cup 4th round clash against Barnsley. We took the lead through Sol J Campbell (incorrectly announced as Sir Les I recall) before they equalised. It ended 1-1 and we got hammered 3-1 in the reply. Still got my ticket, programme and dried up pots of Face paint that I wore.

Sadly I have just realised that my actual first game was a 3-0 defeat to Leicester at Filbert Street about 2 months earlier. Shit.

On the plus side, a year later Ginola did this:

March 1994 v Sheffield Utd. Was a 2-2 draw with Kevin Scott and Jason Dozzell scoring. We were taunted about going down with Swindon and I forgot my glasses (dont recall it effected too much).
The equalizer was in the last minute.
Hooked ever since

Great day. Colin Lee debut with 4 goals. Poor old Ian Moores got a hatrick which was overlooked. John Pratt and I think Neil McNabb got the other two.

Mine was 12th February '77. Home to Yanited. Lost 1-3. Relegation year.

I didn't actually live in England until 3 years ago, so match day visit were very infrequent for more than two decades. Hence, the first match was in 1997, loosing 0-1 to Nottingham Forest.
