not good enough IMO

in the second half, it wasn't clear who played with 10 men

the late goals vs Wigan, WBA and Bolton confirm it

To be honest I felt that our midfield and strikers especially Pav were asked to do to much. The only one of the back four to get forward was BAE.

it was visible for everyone to see as far as im concerned, for the last 30 minutes we totally lost all of our drive and thrust from the first 60. Maybe its the amount of games we've played recently taking its toll but that shouldnt happen with 60 mins on the clock

may be, but i'll have to say in defense of harry and co that the players which looked more complicated with their levels of fitness in the last parts of the second half were chimbo and palacios (bar lennon), who weren't around the last year. asbolutely shocking chimbo, looked so slow, tired and inaccurate despite being a fresh sub.

I don't think we showed any signs of lacking fitness today.

We played well and dominated the game, Arsenal are a tough team to break down and we were playing with a lot of forward players who are not quite on the same wave length yet as they are mostly new to one another.

I think the team as a whole pressed very well all game and showed excellent energy levels. We just lacked that final ball or shot at key times, we didn't quite make enough clear cut chances and those we did we were unable to convert.

But fitness was not one of our problems today in my opinion nor was it the reason we failed to win the game.

You have to give some credit to Arsenal's defence, better teams then us have struggled to break them down. Personally I think we played very well today and controlled Arsenal from start to finish. (with and without 10 men)

Don't think it was a lack of fitness rather a lack of team understanding, Palacios was a monster today but Keane and Pav clearly haven't got on the same wavelength yet the same could be said of Keane and Modric...

Got to say i thought Jenas who worked hard and put in some tackles was fairly anonymous, if he had been driving the midfield more Arsenal would have been in trouble as they struggle to deal with him normally

Fitness barely got a mention untill Ramos came in, and look at the number of games it won him, now its always getting remarked on. We have experienced coaches and medical staff, our players are fit.

I thought we looked tired towards the end, but I'm not surprised because the level of the intensity of the first half was immense. But that's the only way to play against Arsenal, you just have to hope that the effort that you put in during the first half is enough to see you through the game.

I thought we worked harder than we have for a long time. Abillity and fitness are not the same thing.

Well the 10 men of theirs finished better than our 11.
When we go down to 10 like against WBA/Stoke it's usually an excuse for late goals.

I think we always look tired against Arsenal TBH.. We put so much effort in the first 45 mins, that the second 45 is always a struggle.. Generally, no matter what we throw at them, we dont come out on top (the 5-1 obviously being the exception). We should've won today, it was laid on a plate for us, but we couldn't make the step up to score.. Its certainly a problem, maybe even a mental block when it comes to our arch rivals?

I dont actually think its fitness, I think its momentum.. And they soak it up from us all day long.

Have to disagree the game was played at a high intensity throughout, so i dont think its to do with fitness and we kept on going.. Also against the away teams we are losing late goals because we give needless setpieces and cant defend them..

Our support today was out of this world truely amazing!!

A few players looked a bit tired, but they were running more today than they have been of late. Keane looked a tad off match sharpness too I thought.
