In the spirit of the new Marvel show 'what if' thought this might be an interesting discussion. What games results or incidents do you ever find yourself wondering about if they'd gone differently...

Chelsea beating Liverpool in '04 is one that stands out. Do they go bust without CL? Another Leeds situation? Does Roman turn up?

Forest beating United in 1990 too. Does Fergie get sacked without the prospect of a Cup win..

Spurs 'what ifs' encouraged, i just wanted to open up a wider range of possibilities.

I think about things like this all the time. I still haven't got over the 87 Cup Final defeat.

What if we'd won the European Cup in 62 and the treble that season as we could and possibly should have. That team would be talked about forever throughout English football.

But more recently what if we'd managed to keep Bale and Modric. That peak Poch team with those two would have won the lot. Always so close...
