All the shit that has happened between Jose being sacked and him being appointed is not his fault.

Am I underwhelmed by the appointment? Absolutely.

Will I get behind him and the team? 100%

Do I trust Levy any more in doing what is right for Spurs? No

Hopefully he does well, plays some good football and brings back a bit of desire to the team.

As for Levy, it will long live in the memory how much of a cluster fuck this has all been.

I’m weirdly excited. Might just be because we had to wait so long to have a manager. Really good first interview from him. Basically we all just want to enjoy watching us again and going to games. It really isn’t much to ask. But he needs to be given a decent hand by those above him. Without that he really doesn’t stand a chance.

That is the point.

I’ve long passed the angry stage with this or the clinging to any hope that we were going to pull off something big.

Whilst ENIC are pulling the strings I don’t think it really matters too much who the manager is, so I’m glad it’s finally sorted and just hope that there aren’t too many different factions in the background that prevent him doing his job properly.

Found this very interesting. Paratici clearly the new face of the club and spends most of this video talking about how Nuno isn't always defensive.

I also found it interesting how he talks about fitness and physicality being important with Nuno.

I can see why Levy liked him. Can see Levy falling for all that kind of guff. I wish they hadnt done that interview. The Nuno one was positive, that made me a bit more concerned.

Where is that video shot? Training ground?

Isnt it like 20 degrees in London, and the guy wearing a suit with a shirt and a wool sweater underneath? Think that is a clear evidence we cant trust him.

May the force be with Master Nuno. Now we just need to flog out some deadwood and get in some players that will improve us. Lets get our top 4 back! COYS!

Yeah the players lodge at the training ground. I think he and nuno are both isolating there at the moment.

But yeah Italian's and their suits...

If you haven’t seen his interview yet. All the luck to Nuno. COYS.

Liked what he had to say. Passionate guy. I feel better already. Cant wait for season to start and enjoying watching Spurs again. I'd rather finish 10th and be entertained than finish 4th and be bored to death. I watch football for enjoyment not just the result.

Video was at the Spurs Lodge.

Nuno and Paratici are probably both staying there at the moment.

I wish them all the luck in the world and will be backing them. I just hope we don’t become an easy earner for Mendes’s clients.

Difficult to get behind this appointment considering the background our wonderful ITK's have shared.

The Mendes Hotspur Football Club.

NO thanks

That farewell video from the last wolves game won me over - I’m all about the emotional connection. Those players loved him, and those fans adored him. I’m in.

The only reason why I'm any bit concerned is if what Nuno sets up on the pitch is going to be somewhat experimental. I thought that he'd intend to have us set up with the 3 at the back as that's when Wolves looked best and even though it's not the most ideal style of football, I liked the idea of every player having a set role and knowing exactly what they have to do in that role, similar to why Conte's setup was so appealing to me. I just hope that will still be the case with whatever he does end up trying or more so, I hope whatever he tries is as effective. Paratici mentioned flexibility but I personally don't want to see us chopping and changing formation. Hopefully we have something that the players feel good in and that may potentially change for standout games like City, Liverpool away etc.

Hate to sound negative as I'm actually fine with this appointment and am looking forward to now just moving on.

The PR spin is a bit cringe but it is what it is.

Welcome Nuno. I won’t pretend it isn’t underwhelming but it’s not his fault he was appointed. At least this purgatory manager search is over.

The main objective now must be to have a squad overhaul. All other problems fade in comparison. And that’s our new DOF job anyway. The pressure to deliver is first and foremost on Paritici as I see it.

Clearly a good bit of time has been spent on ensuring that these first interviews hit the right tone by both Nuno and Paratici. Very scripted with key points to get across to try and stick to Levys DNA shite that he came out with.

Like most of us I didn't want him but he's here now so have to get behind him but that doesn't mean that in-between singing songs to players and Nuno that Willow's deviant uncle shouldn't be left in any doubt as to our feelings towards him
