Nothing against Nuno at all. I actually find him a decent person but he was just not the right man for the job. I don’t blame him at all for taking the job, it’s the fault of the club who hired him. I don’t see why he should be aggrieved with the club though. He himself said it’s the most ruthless sport (although I think he meant sector). He had a contract and was paid based on that. He will bounce back at a level suited to his abilities.

Good luck Nuno!

Simply should never have got the job. I feel sorry for him but he has been handsomely paid off no doubt and it is a ruthless world.

It was the clubs fault but I can see they appointed him to be really a glorified caretaker whilst we get Conte or a Poch etc. Which makes sense I guess. In hindsight.

I wanted to feel sorry for him but he should have watched back the games he managed with us.. ?

Yes, Levy was in the wrong for the whole DNA bullshit, but I also wouldn't be so harsh if not for his words 'making us proud'. Pfft.

The last two and a half months of Nuno ball was frankly the worse period watching us play. Worse ever. Soul-destroying supporting the team.

If that was the case they would have stuck with Mason rather than paying out compensation to Nuno or any other temp appointment

Journos now reporting they think that Instagram account is fake.

Seems baffling to me that someone would spend several years posting the odd inconsequential post on a fake Nuno Espirito Santo account!

Someone sent me this today. Surely it's not true. Haven't seen anything about it anywhere else.

Very worrying if true (IMHO I doubt it is)
Anti football at the younger levels then have to step up and change when older
This has to be some kind of wind up
I don't follow that page on Facebook, so no idea how good they are with anything, but it does seem pretty odd.

After watching that disasterclass from United this evening, I have done a complete 180 on Nuno. Before I was outraged, embarrassed, and disgusted by him. Now, I am eternally grateful, ludicrously adoring, and considerably indebted to the man.

the 3-0 loss to United that sprung his sacking and simultaneously a vote of confidence in Ole was the best timed loss in Spurs history. Every facet about Nuno’s disastrous approach was tuned perfectly to bait an immediate action from Daniel. In perfect symmetry, it was the feel good win Ole needed to buy himself two more weeks; and importantly, buy Daniel two more weeks to negotiate with Conte before United were to swoop in.

To Nuno, you are my hero. You won enough early points to not be totally out of the CL race and even dropped out of Conference League to help with fixture congestion. One could not possibly be a better lame duck manager if they tried.
