Nuno seems a nice chap and dealt a difficult hand (is anyone shocked) but we have to, unfortunately be like chelski. Be ruthless and get rid. It's horrible being a modern day fickle fan with a lack of patience but it is very obvious he is out of his depth and the manager merry go round knowing he was about 8th choice meant he was doomed.

Conte no chance.
Poch would be end of season but that means sacrificing ANOTHER season.
ETH (my original choice) - no chance he will come now.

Looks like a gamble on Gallardo who is free from January, Mason in until Poch next season or someone else, gulps, Martinez.

Personally I just don’t think we have that many good footballers at the club anymore. If everyone was put up for sale in January I don’t think there’d be more than 2 or 3 who clubs would be really trying to put together money to buy off us. Compare that to 4/5 years ago and we had such quality all over that starting 11. We’ve fallen in every area on the pitch and Nuno’s awful philosophy aside I’m really not surprised we’re where we are. There’s a lot of players in this starting 11 people talk up who are shadows of their equivalent from the Poch peak team.
We need a manager with a proper footballing philosophy to get behind because it’s going to be years and years before we get anywhere near what we were under Poch.

I think we have good players, the issue is we have a POOR squad. The proof is in Europa last season and conference now.

Players like Reguillon, Kane, PEH, Skipp have ZERO competition. They know they play every week now.

We will sleepwalk to the end of the season, unless we get drawn into a relegation battle.
If Levy thought the rebuild was painful and difficult in the summer wait until we've got the likes of Son, Dembele and Romero wanting out because they didn't come here to be arseing about in midtable. How many competitive matches have we played under Levy's ownership with a caretaker manager? Its got to be a record. Let's not let him off the hook for another season spent treading water while we work out which budget option we can bring in next.

Enough! Sack Nuno and bring in a coach of the calibre we were supposed to be targeting over the entire summer and couple of months before. Put your hand in your triple-padlocked pocket and pay whatever Ajax or Brighton or whoever wants and stop this nonsense. We've got one of the best stadium's in world football, we've got one of the best training grounds in the world and we're managed by Nuno Espirito f***ing Santo and suffering through his tribute to George bloody Graham.

I don't want Ryan Mason, I don't want Eddie Howe, I don't want any other currently out of work chancer. I want a manager with a plan to get us back into the Champions League, win a pot or two and get us playing decent football so that watching us isn't an alternative to Xanax.

Why would anyone want to join the club if a manager can get sacked when 6th in the table with a shit show of a squad.

I think if he gets beat midweek and then loses 2 or 3 again on the bounce he could be a goner. But I agree. you cant really sack him sitting in 6th after 9 games.

I can’t see us getting a win on Wednesday, definitely not on Saturday and Everton away is another I don’t fancy so he’s in big trouble
