Would love this so much.

SO would I but he'd need the rest of the year and summer to get us playing his style properly.

SHould have been him or Ten Haag in July. Our players haven't been coached in playing actual football or so long. Takes while to turn a tanker...

If someone was going to pay me 60-80k a week, fuck the fans, id take it and no matter how shit I am, ill suffer the booing for a pay off of £2m.

If Levy calls me tomorrow, im taking that job - dont care about any of you.
Will you play attacking football?

Every appointment carries a risk but I don't know much about him like you do to form an opinion.
I would rather go for Conte simply because he turns under performing clubs around on more than one occasion that for me says he suits us.
Yeah it will be tomorrow morning around 9.30am is my guess. Nuno will get to the training ground and FP and Levy will be there to fire him to his face. Today is a Sunday, so they won't sack him today, let the guy enjoy his Sunday with his family (well he isn't enjoying it I am sure but firing on a Sunday is harsh), he obviously will know what is happening and knows times is up.

I do feel sorry for him, he's a nice guy if not dour and uncharismatic, but it just isn't working so he needs to go now. He was never the right fit, I could have told you that in the summer, the real question will always be, just why the fuck was he hired. The most mind boggling decision we've ever seen, crazier than sell Berbatov and replacing with Frazier Campbell.

I think he was hired because he was the only one who showed any interest when Mendes put him forward.

If the search for Nuno's replacement has already started, I pray we find someone with a proven history of playing the kind of football we all want to see. I think we'll have quite a job to be honest but we are still a massive club with (almost) everything in place regarding our infra-structure, but the squad does still need upgrading in certain areas, but that's down to Fabio and the new guy, whoever he is.

I think we can automatically forget the likes of Gerrard and Ten Hag.

Including PEH
I was amazed at his interview when he himself was one of the worst performers on the day.
Midfield plodder
Nothing else
Skippy much better
Way too harsh to call PEH a "midfield plodder". He's the only one out there who behaves like a proper leader, cajoling his team-mates and trying to get them up for the fight. Kane's supposed to be our vice captain but hasn't given a single shit this season.
PEH may not always be eye catching but he's an important player for us, especially at the moment.

Hope he's gone. We all have different views. I really have never warmed to him and never will. Absolutely zero personality and don't find him likeable at all. But understand many of you do like him. That's fair enough.

He earns more per week than I'll ever see in my bank account in my life. Its his job to get the team playing the right way and he just hasn't. I don't feel sorry for him. If I liked him maybe I would. A bit.
100% my thoughts exactly.

I wonder if Nuno did get sacked, did the players have a say in the decision in particular Kane. I think the players need to be bought down a peg or two and not involved in the decision making, thats why some think they're bigger than the club.

If only there was a manager renowned for precisely that.

Has a (recent) record of success at almost every club he's ever managed.

Has walked into clubs half way through a season, including certain London rivals, and instantly transformed a group of underperforming individuals into a cohesive unit.

Currently out of work & available as soon as the current manager has cleared his desk.

If only!

It's not that simple though. The man has his pride and he's failing in front of the world at his job. He has three kids who are watching their dad speculated about on national tv. He's been booed by 62,000 people all chanting "you don't know what you're doing" and they've seen and heard that. You have to be mentally very strong to deal with that - it's the nature of the beast but it's not nice.

I remember reading Gary Barlow saying he struggled to live with the shame of public failure to such an extent that he piled on about 6-7 stone so people wouldn't recognise him and smoked himself stupid for a few years. This was a young man who'd done more than 99.9% of us and was a millionaire dozens of times over. And he felt like a complete failure for several years because of the abuse he received. And that was long before the cesspit of social media.

Don't underestimate the effect that negative public opinion can have on people regardless of how well they are compensated.

I get all that and I wouldnt know how id react if my dad was in that role. He hasnt really got any abuse per se and ive seen a lot on here especially say he is a nice guy etc. hell even ive said it...

But why is he not even giving himself a chance? no shots in how long? we go 2-0 down and there is more chance it goes to 3 than it would to 2-1. I dont see someone who is fighting this out in anyway.

He isnt fighting it out like he wants the job. He seems to be in the job in the same way id take a fight with Tyson with the intention of getting knocked out in the first few seconds for a knockout.

I believe so, found this quote in an article.

"It’s thought that King impressed Mourinho with his work on Spurs’ defensive players during lockdown. The 39-year-old has completed his coaching badges and has previously coached Spurs’ U18 side on a part-time basis."

As much as I'd love Ledders to be our boss one day, this is not the kind of job to give anyone for a first crack at management.

I can’t believe how little criticism Levy & Paratici are getting, they chose Nuno, they did !!! Our football club is run by a bunch of absolute clowns, it’s embarrassing!!

He seems like a good pro and mostly a great attitude but I’m not sure he is that good if I’m being honest
Maybe. But lack of effort is not something that can be levelled at him. And too many others aren’t putting in any
