Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg earned his 71st cap as Denmark toppled San Marino 2-1 on Tuesday night to set up a huge game against Slovenia in UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying.
The midfielder put in another full shift for the Danes who were made to fight for the three points at San Marino Stadium. San Marino went into the match having lost seven out of seven but found an equaliser through Alessandro Golinucci on 61 minutes, levelling Rasmus Hojlund's opener.
