Maybe we should try the Sheringham shortish near post corner routine again... For corners that is. Vdv really has no excuse for not at least working the keeper. Fuck it. All of them should be able to hit the target from 20 yards.

I was thinking that the club signing Charlie Adams will get 6 or 7 freekicks scored a season. Unbelievable tekkers!!

That's what we were all saying when we bought Bale. There were posts on here saying what he'd provide in set-pieces was worth the fee alone.

I love the free kick routines that teams like wolves do. Granted the coaches there will spend more time on things like set pieces as they're probably less likely to score from elsewhere, but they cause lots of confusion.

Would be nice to see signs of some more thought out free kick routines - if we can capitalise on fouls conceded by poor defences maybe we can stop pissing away points to them.

A corner or freekick means nothing when I watch Spurs.

We probably have more chance of scoring from a counter attack from an opponents dangerous freekick/set piece then our own free kick/set piece
