Yeah never understood why they're at Wembley. Wembley should only be for finals.

IMO the FA should choose 2 semi-final venues at the start of each season from all stadiums that can hold 30,000+ spectators excluding Wembley. And 1-back up venue for the unlikely event that the two clubs who's stadiums have been chosen to hold the semi-finals get drawn against each other.

There's about 22 stadiums to choose from.

It used to be about safety but they've probably got quite used to it being a money spinner for Wembley and don't want to give it up. The clubs share the gate receipts after costs but rather than that profit margin on those 'costs' going through a private club it goes through Wembley.

Plus the revenue from beer, food, merchandise is Wembley's to keep

They have already tried a couple of times to mess up our season..A few reasons why I say F*CK 'em:

1. Tapped up Modric - we lost the first few games
2. Terry - because of him Capello quit England and therefore distracted Harry & The squad
3. They are all Chavs !

Who wants to go to Wembley on a week night FFS - its a day out for our fans and is tradition.

Why not make Liverpool and Everton play at Old Trafford on the Saturday and then we can play our game atWembley on the same day ? COYS

Another point is that we really don't want Chelsea doing well in the CL anyway. If they somehow win it (they won't, Barcelona will kill them, resuscitate them and kill them again) and we finish 4th, they get CL ahead of us. Then there's the way they behaved over Modric in the summer, and beyond all that we're under no obligation whatsoever to make life easier for them in a game we bloody well want to win. They can get stuffed.

Really don't understand why Liverpool are immune from playing on the anniversary of Hillsborough. How long will that continue for?

That said, it would be much better if Chelsea were forced to play on the Sunday ahead of their Champions League game.

To be fair Liverpool asked ages ago that if they reached the semi final could they play on the Saturday. I see no problem with that.

Chelsea can do one. They should be delighted that they are in such a position to play two games in 50 odd hours or so at this stage of the season.
