On a side note, somebody on here said that Fulham offered 'the most civilized away day in the PL'.

Well, I was in the home end for the game (the gf's old man is a ST holder, let me have it for the day) and the things I heard, I am not sure if it was heard in the away end but there was a lot of reference to WW2, Hitler and and the associated things I am sure you can all imagine..... I won't go in to details but it was really, really bad. Not just single people shouting out, actual chants getting started, they need to be ashamed of themselves. It was totally out of order, I expect this kind of stuff from chelscum and the gypos but not at Craven Cottage.

When Sandro scored I shouted out "Fucking hell" While throwing my arms up in the air..... I got a few funny looks. I turned to the fella next to me and styled it out a bit by saying, "Shit defending, I can't believe he was allowed the room to do that." At that moment I looked down to see some bloke, a fellow Yid, getting chucked out of the ground. Apparently he couldn't hold back his excitement at the Beast scoring. The mob to my right and behind me where the hardcore of the fans, leading all the songs etc, they started to throw lighters and coins at him, he got struck on the head by a couple of the missiles. A few of them still didn't seem convinced as to my alligence so when we scored the third I decided to leave. I mingled with the masses heading for the exit. I didn't much fancy getting weighed in during or after the match.

Getting punched up by a bunch of pissed off Fulham fans isn't that appealing to me.

So, to sum up how civilized the Fulham fans where..... No better than chelscum on that days basis.

Well all fans call other teams names, but its one thing using names that are generic and another thing entirely the phrases and such that I heard. This was areally bad, it was comparable to the WHam game the other day, just not as loud apparently.

I was surprised with it because of the publicity that has been stirred up with us and opposing fans recently.

Also, I haven't gone round calling fans of those clubs by those names where as theirs have. I am using it in a forum talking amonst fans like myself refering to fans of another club. No malice in it at all. What I heard was hate filled. No doubt about it.
