Thank you. Always enjoy this. It doesn't provide a clear or fool-proof picture of progression, but it does put a season-long look into perspective.

Some of those results and runs of results could be hard to replicate in this season, like a W vs. Chelsea (not scared of them right now, though) or 10 wins in 12 in the second half of the season, but there are runs and fixtures where you know we'll be odds-on to gain some points including Villa, Newcastle, West Brom (h) and Watford, Palace, and Stoke (a).

I'll endeavour to keep this up to date.

do like following these kind of threads, and thanks for starting it nidic.

the only thing i'd do is change the teams that got promoted for relegated teams.

Hull 18th > Bournemouth 1st
Burnley 19th > Watford 2nd
QPR 20th > Norwich play off winners

only a suggestion

edit just another quick suggestion cause i'm hoping this makes a big difference this season

Man Utd (a) – L – L 0pts - GD +2
Stoke (h) – L – D +1pts - GD +3
Leicester (a) – W – D -2pts - GD +2
Everton (h) – W – D -2pts - GD +1
Sunderland (a) – D – W +2pts - GD +2
Palace (h) – D – W +2pts - GD +3
Man City (h) – L – W +3pts - GD +6 OR 7

the last result = the reason why i'm not bril at these sort of things

I really hope we smash Liverpool in two weeks, so fed up of loosing to those ****

Was just thinking the same. They'll probably have Sturridge and Benteke up front, but if we can limit Aguero and Toure, we can do likewise to their strike fore.

We're much better equipped to handle their defense than they are ours. They're all over the place defensively, so I'm reasonably confident. Henderson is a real miss to their midfield as well.

Can someone link me to the same thread last season, would be interesting to see how accurate it was each week - indeed, we could probably do it for the last few season and pinpoint exactly when it become most accurate

If I remember rightly last seasons followed on from the previous 1, and wasn't a new thread. can't remember what thread was called though hence nidic couldn't either and started this (which I like, and kind of wished the "What our opponents' fans are saying" thread would do)

Aguero was clearly still carrying an injury from the Palace game and they have no back up strikers. But yeah agree, really hope we can beat Liverpool before any full time resurgence on their part. Fancy us to score against that defence

You might as well save yourself the hassle and put Norwich away as a lost now

Is it worth it though?

If we smash them, Brendon will probably be sacked:(
Fitting then, that he should end his Liverpool tenure in a way that Liverpool ended AVB's. Getting bent over and fucked at WHL. Without lube.

I think he is pretty much gone anyway, if anyone is going to get him fired it might as well be us. I have been trying to come to terms for a while now that ether Klopp or Carlo will be the next man in charge.
