This is a list of Spanish football transfers for the summer sale in 2013–14 season. Only moves from La Liga and Segunda División are listed.
The summer transfer window began on 1 July 2013, although a few transfers took place prior to that date. The window will close at midnight on 31 August 2013. Players without a club can join one at any time, either during or in between transfer windows. Clubs below La Liga level can also sign players on loan at any time. If need be, clubs can sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan, if all others are unavailable.

I would think this site looks more reliable than wikipedia

Why is it everyones freaking out today??? Is it just the drivel in the press? None of our ITKs have said anything negative other than a bit of backtracking to where we were yesterday, as in "he's keen to sign" back to "doesnt really matter what bale wants, we're not selling.".. Whats changed? Seems really negative in here.

I think this is a massively over looked issue. We were no matter what any one says, a one man team last year.
Game after game his wonder goals would get us points we would not have got otherwise.

I simply dont want to be reliant on one man so if we could use his fee to invest all over the squad in real quality players then it MUST be considered.

Unless there's truth Joey is spunking his wealth but I'm highly sceptical of that.

We have addressed that already though with the acquisations of Chadli, Paulinho and Soldado. While I dont expect chadli to set the world alight, and reckon he'll frustrate the life out of us with his greed on the ball and inability pass the ball at the right moment, I think he'll contribute a few goals.
Paulinho is getting plaudits from many Journos, pundits and players about his similar playing style to that of Lampard. He'll score goals.
And Soldado should, by all accounts, score a lot more than Adebayor and Defoe have done for the last season or two.

So, IMHO, we have addressed the 'one man team' situation.

Bale deserves some credit.

Rooney, Suarez and Benteke all made it public that they wanted out. Bale has not said a word. Sure you have the media saying he has said this and that but we all know it's crap.

I truly believe that Bale will go with whatever the club decide.

Bale doesn't deserve any credit for staying silent,as far as i'm concerned, that doesn't mean i think he deserves stick either though.

Do you really think he has stayed silent cos he doesn't want to hurt our feelings?

Sorry can't be bothered to go through all the reasons why i think he is staying silent, but lets not be fooled as to why he is.

Lets see if he had stayed silent if he wasn't tied up on a long term contract...thank fuck for DL.

He is so worried that DL WON'T let him go if its not right for THFC..Thats the only reason he is staying silent ffs...if he held the cards it would be different...so why does he deserve any credit?..DL has him by the balls....

Bale will miss the start of the season because of this o_O injury that just won't clear up....

Everyone on here is stepping on egg shells, praising him??....bollocks...i'm not slating him..but praising him?? no fucking way.

As with anything all we have to go on is ITK, which is more divided than I've ever seen and the press (this is a forum where every topic is created via a press-link to a player).

We've had some negative press and negative ITK in the last day or so, as well as positive press linking us to Lamela in a big way. So naturally, talk of Bale out gathers steam.

At the beginning of the window I was worried about him going, now that we've signed a couple of class players I believe that we can attract others to the project (Lamela) and the Bale cloud is less of an issue.

And yet with all that added talent, in 45 minutes against Espanyol we managed a single goal from a penalty and hardly any shots on goal.

I'll leave the 2nd half out of it due to all the changes.

This is the most confusing window I can remember since, well, ever. We seem to be linked with a vast quantity of players when really we would have thought we needed 2 - 3 quality forward players and possibly a defender.
Instead we've purchased 2 CM's who appear to be more defensive than officensive and appear to be tracking every one else that's ever played football lol.

Personally, I don't think he has stayed silent.

Maybe Bale himself hasn't said anything, but his agent works for him and is his mouthpiece. Lets not kid ourselves into thinking Barettt is just a money hungry twat, leaking things to the press and going on Spanish radio without Bale knowing about it.

Bale, however, has massive commercial interests built on the back of his squeaky clean appeal. He is worth far more than Suarez not just for his footballing prowess, but because he's not an absolute villain. He is the football role model marketing people adore. If he kicks up a stink, he starts to take the shine off of that - so his agent does it for him.

Who is doing the linking though ? Not the club. Most of the links are rubbish whilst many of the others will just be us either keeping our options open or finding out what prices are being asked and what wages requested.

Well we had a goal ruled out for a debatable offside decision from our new Lampardinho.

I disagree that we didn't need a CM - we were woefully short last year with Sandro out and now with Parker going, bringing in two good players (Paulinho is box-to-box, not a DM) can only benefit the squad.

We've bought a £26m striker and a £7m wide forward (which was required), we also have Townsend back from loan who could be like a new signing. We had Vlad all sorted but the Romanian club's president called it off from his jail cell - difficult one.

There's still time until the end of the window and at this point I don't feel like we've done any bad/pointless business.

What negative ITK?

If Roma are willing to deal him, I would guarantee we will go balls-to-the-wall to get Lamela to replace Bale, should we sell him.

I'm not sure if I really believe the rumors that we want Lamela at the asking price even if Bale is staying, but I think either way, we will have a damned good RW in our squad for this season.

Scout saying done/dusted, JJ reaffirming his money is on bale going.

Guess depends how you look at it then, JJ was actually more positive about Bale staying than he had been in the past... And scout info caused other ITKs to rebuff... So yeah, glass half full or empty isn't it.

I didnt say we didnt need a CM, just that I was surprised we bought not one, but two and continue to be linked to more.

I'm actually looking forward to the window closing, not because of Bale but to see who we actually do buy with all the speculation.
More links this window than any other!

Evaluated against past goings on at Spurs where, generally, the player goes.
