The theory that has been presented about RM and Spurs not willing to make the deal official before Spurs have secured replacements doesn`t seem too reliable, if you ask me. I mean the whole world expects Bale to be a RM-player, and the fee is more or less common to everybody too (at least that it is about 100 mill euros). So, I don`t think Spurs are holding back information to buy players at a more reasonable price. That sounds too naive to me.

Bale having holiday in Marbella doesn`t mean a shit to me. No more than that means Bale is not playing games at the moment. Marbella is far away from Madrid. I think all this is a question about money and a expected deal which is far away from been agreed and signed. Do Madrid have all this money? Do they need investors from outside? Are they considering Suarez now instead?

I think that if the deal was agreed, some more reliable rumours would have leaked out to the world. I still think RM have problems with coming to an agreement with Levy!

I think its more a case of not letting him go until someone is signed... to avoid the situation with Willian where we lose him have cash and no replacement... that for me is the worse case scenario... if we don't have a replacement he shouldn't be sold...

all the rumours that are flying around are just rumours no one has any idea whats going on which is what levy wants , all the speculation is exactly what he wants as it puts spurs in the news everyday , it also is raising the teams profile in the usa which is needed as levy is hoping to find the backing to build the stadium from there in a similar way to how a lot of american football stadiums are built/sponsored . bale will not be sold . because if he stays it will keep spurs in the media spotlight all year and long term it will give levy a better chance in finding that big money deal

There's always a possibility that his agent has put the rumour of another club to get RM moving with their offer?

Yes, that might be right. The deal might have been put on hold until replacements are secured. Which means that the situation right now is unsecure. I think you are right. And if you are, that confirmes my speculations in my previous post about RM which might be forced to come up with the replacements themselves from their own squad. And that isn`t too easy, maybe?

At least Bales trip to Marbella indicates a little chaos and no settled and agreed deal which is 100% certain. "Clear his head"?? Hmm.. Probably Bales situation is very unsecure. I guess Willian would have closed the deal. But, he didn`t come.

And, if I`m not wrong; Paulinho came at a time when Levy and AVB were very clear that Bale was not for sale. It might be difficult to find willing stars now to replace him or good enforcements in general, cause maybe they just don`t want to replace him in a non-CL-club, but rather play with him?

Maybe my specualtions are far beyond, but the more I speculate, the more I get the feeling that this is not settled or certain.. But, what do I really know?

In my opinion I've no problem with him going to another PL team because Mr Levy will absolutely fucking rinse whichever club is stupid enough to try and buy him.

Any deal we agreed on Wednesday I.e. before Willian fell through, probably ain't a deal anymore. Not to say it won't go through on the lines reported but not until Lamela is signed and sealed.

Despite may people being upset at Madrid's press antics i feel Levy would rather deal with them than Chelsea or United but he'd Ony deal with Madrid if the price is right.

Levy wouldn't rather deal with Chelsea or United because he's a logical man and wouldn't want to strengthen our PL rivals purely to spite Madrid.

In case it was missed, just seen this over a COYS

Cadena Ser radio have just reported Bale flew to Madrid first thing this morning, not London. Spanish journo just been on talkSPORT.

Well, he won't get to see the team since they're in Granada for the match.

This is kind of a short-term mindset, though. Is the long-term future of the league or the teams in it assisted by us selling Modric and Bale abroad at knockdown prices and Chelsea warehousing Willian? We have reportedly turned down 22 million and Hernandez to avoid selling to a team who finished 17 points ahead of us last season, Chelsea have just created a dressing room problem for themselves, and the best British player in 30 years will spend his career promoting La Liga rather than the Premiership.

Dont think he is going to check out the team ...

Yeah, I know. Just think if he were really traveling there "first thing this morning" it would be a big enough deal that they'd want as many of the squad and staff there as possible.

Seems to me you're as much concerned about the PL as you are about Tottenham and I simply can't relate to that.

I have to disagree. Cant imagine Ronaldo and co waiting to see Gareth, their egos wont allow it.

If he was there first thing this morning, a lot more people and even SSN would've been in on the act.
