Weather he was convincing or not it doesnt mean he is injured or he isn't. I see where your coming from but there are no facts either way. He hasnt trained properly but yes I agree the Wales game will say a lot but I havent seen anything to change my opinion. Ok yes real are interested yes he may not want to get injured to jeopardise he 'dream move' but I have placed 100% trust in AVB and until someone shows me concrete facts I wont be changiny mind. :D

Well why the FFFFFSSSSSS sake is he in the Wales squad then? Why the FFFFSSSSS sake is he not sat with the rest of the squad today?

There's enough uncertainty. Just because the manager says this or an ITK says that.

Nobody knows what the feck is going on.

I'm not saying he going or staying. It's just a little odd.

Reckon he'd be sat with the squad if he was certain to stay. We'd also have some statement for him, I reckon. I've always thought he preferred going but would also happily stay AND that we'd stand firm. The former looks dead certain now, as for the two latter we'll know by september, I guess...

Got carried away playing real life FM, today reminded me how much we will need him. Just as that 'clutch' player.

Hope he does stay and I for one, won't have my view altered on him due to this saga

How would have he convinced you?

All in the body language. He was refraining from looking the interviewer in the eye when talking about the 'injury'. Didn't fill me with any confidence that what he was saying was completely true. Of course I pray and hope that I am wrong but I guess time will tell.

I only asked because imo he is always like that.

Today was promising. Obviously Bale would have helped, but I actually kind of liked that we looked more balanced and threatening from different avenues.

If Bale is staying (and I do hope he is) I hope we can learn to not just funnel all of our play through him. We have good players around him who can dictate the game.

I feel a bit disappointed that Gareth was not in attendance. If he had attended then I suppose the inference would have been, 'He's staying', equally his failure to show will have people stating that's it, good bye. I have felt all along that he was going to stay, I am now coming to the realisation that he will be going. I will be sorry to see him go, but as a team we must look forward to moving on and the rebuilding of the new SPURS. We have made some very good signings and no doubt there will be more. COYS
