As a child, I collected foreign shirts for fun, but that was either due to players (Flamengo, Romario) or purely because I liked the shirt (Real/Barca/Inter). As a player, he couldn't give a fuck about Real's dirty tactics to sign him, they're just the biggest club team in the world.

Must announce the fee for this. After all this talk of £90-100m, I reckon if we say undisclosed it will be for substantially less. Levy would be the first one to crow if we had developed and sold someone for a world record fee.

Haven't really commented on this all summer as didnt really want to believe. Loved Bale but as he says its a career opportunity he couldn't turn down. Hated how it played out but for that money we just had to sell just like Utd had to sell Ronaldo.
