Scored a worldy today

Yep, Had a cracking game tonight.

If there is even the slightest glimmer of signing him back, we've got to go for it surely?

Imagine the influence he would have on tomorrow's fixture, even on paper before kickoff, for example. Oppo's fear factor would be sky high.

Bale has always seemed completely sincere about coming back to us rather than any f***ing off to another PL club. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we start getting more "zealous" about it as summer approaches.

If Utd think they can use Martial as part exchange to get him I reckon we have a much better bargaining chip in Alderweireld.
Real hardly short of a forward or two but a world class CB.....

If he comes back I think he would be amazing. Even if he can’t play every game, what an option to have!

I would only take him back as a LWB to compete with Davies when Rose is inevitably sold. I believe he can put in a decent cross, isn't that what we need? There is probably no way he would want to play LWB though...

He hasn't tracked back for the last 4 season, so i doubt he'll be too keen on LWB option.

Bringing Bale back would certainly be an indication of intent on the part of Tottenham Hotspur. The top-players in the present squad would be impressed and the fans would come out to see him. His impact on furthering the Tottenham Hotspur 'brand' worldwide would be immense. The problem that I have with Bale returning is his wages. How would that affect our wage structure and the kind of money his teammates would want to see in their own wage packets?

It's not really a matter of whether we can afford him in my view - but rather can we afford his teammates wages demands should he re-join us?

We need a strong, happy, cohesive squad as we move into our new stadium...

Didn't want to post this in the ITK but I mentioned his contract being leaked:

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...le-contract-leak-sparks-panic-at-real-madrid/

The documents also reveal Spurs have first option to buy back Bale and have a 72-hour window to match any bid for the Welshman that Real Madrid would accept.

Tottenham’s buy-back clause – which lasts until June 30, 2019 – does not come into effect should a non-Premier League club make an offer. Bayern Munich are thought to have an interest in Bale.

A clause in the original deal also suggested that if Real had chosen to sell Bale back to the Premier League before September last year they would have had to pay Spurs an additional £10 million.

The most surprising thing about that to me hasn't even really got much to do with Bale it's more so the strange stance Madrid have with Ronaldo and the ego of the man in probably being upset at not being the most expensive player at the club. Very strange.

And people wonder why Bale has at times looked isolated from the team

Looked amazing today. Second goal was incredible, should look it up if you haven't seen it. This guy still is a top player when healthy. Modric assisted his first goal, wish they were still here but its still nice to be able to watch them play together.

We are these 2 types of players away from winning something, ironic.

The frustrating this is we would of won something by now if we just spent our money more wisely.

Instead of buying squad fillers like: Janssen, Nkoudou, and Sissoko. We could of used that £50-60m to get a genuine quality player who would of helped us far more than those three combined.

I hope Levy and Poch have learnt from this.
