your a bit ouf of date. The debt has been cut already by 90 million euros. plus the qatar foundation deal There is a 50 million euro surplus that the club didnt have to pay in bonuses for wining champions league and la liga. Rumours(papers and radio) in Catalunya are that there is 100 million euros plus sales for zubizaretta and Tito to spend.

Rac radio said that barca will offer 45 million but seriously doubt that it will be enough. cb, a lb and cf have to be signed with that money

Yes I think Barca have money available and I agree 45 million euros isn't going to be enough to get Bale from us.

Bale out? Tottenham star waiting on news of Redknapp's future before committing

It looks like all-in or all-out at the Lane, as Welsh wizard Gareth ponders options with an eye on ongoing club negotiations with boss Harry

Gareth Bale has gone on holiday to decide on his Tottenham future amid doubts whether Harry Redknapp is staying at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham are desperate to keep Bale and have offered him a new contract to persuade him to commit his long term future to the club.
But Manchester City and Barcelona are both watching developments and have got the Welsh flier on their transfer hit list this summer.

City are prepared to break the bank to land Bale while Barcelona want him but are not prepared to meet Spurs' sky-high valuation.
Bale has already admitted he wants to be playing in the Champions League next season and Spurs missing out could be a major factor.
But Spurs boss Redknapp is also facing an uncertain time as talks are ongoing with chairman Daniel Levy and some of the club's big name players are watching developments and fear the manager could go this summer.

Mirror Sport revealed last week that Redknapp and Levy are heading towards crunch time as the Spurs boss wants assurances about his future as he believes some figures at the club want him out.
Redknapp wants a new contract, Levy was disappointed that talks stalled in February while the England job was on the agenda and is now in no rush to give him a new deal.
It leaves Spurs at a crunch time with Bale and Redknapp at a crossroads and the club will now have to make big decisions.

Redknapp is also a target for a Middle East consortium who want him to manage in Qatar. Redknapp was tempted last year and another money-spinning offer is being put together which could also be a factor.

They may also face a struggle to keep Luka Modric with Manchester United watching developments and Sir Alex Ferguson a keen admirer of the Croatian playmaker.

This is becoming even more tedious than the Modric saga last year. Bless Harry's mates in the media trying to help him out. :sneaky:

No quotes and no apparent indication on what he'd do either way (the article never says that he'll leave if Redknapp goes or that he'll stay if he doesn't, even though the title implies it). It seems legit.

Never heard something so stupid. 'Gone on holiday to decide his future'? Are you sure he hasn't just gone on holiday to go on holiday. They make out like the summer isn't when footballers with nothing to do would go on holiday. I know they like to make up rubbish but they could at least try a little harder than to create a rumour based on a player going on holiday.

Is it Harry ( media chums) using Bale as his bargaining tool to force Levy into giving him a 3 year deal.

Barcelona agree deal for Bale - reports

Tottenham have agreed to sell Gareth Bale to Barcelona for £40million, according to reports in Spain.
There has been much speculation about Bale’s future, with the Nou Camp regularly talked about as a possible destination for the Welshman.
And Marca TV programme, Futboleros, is now claiming the La Liga club have reached an agreement with the north Londoners for the sale of the 22-year-old.
They now need to agree personal terms with Bale and Futboleros are reporting they will offer him a five-year contract on €5million a year.

Couldn't be Barca...they've already put it out to their media friends that they really do want him, but they will not pay £30 million, oh, no sir...it's up to us to lower our asking price before they deign to do us a favour and take him off our hands. Personally, I think we should offer him to them for an all-inclusive trip to the Nou Camp and a packet of pork scratchings...it is Barca, after all :notworthy:

It is totally out of order, in fact an absolute disgrace that the media can do their best to unsettle our club every single f**kin summer.
If its not the mail - modric and bacon twat face, its the mirror - barce and bale.
What a disgrace these low life, lying journalists really are.

Setanta talking about a possible deal to be offered by City that includes Adebayor, Johnson and a few quid.

I would accept these two players, some of their wages being supplemented by City for a season or two and £30m cash. Use that cash to snare Vertonghen, Lloris and Belhanda and we are laughing.

How easy is this football management lark eh?(y)
