He wasnt attacking lippi as such there, im pretty sure thats after the WC finals they won. Hes celebrating in his own strange way.

He's still a little shit tho

I was trying to work that one out, Lippi was still smiling, and the other guy, while he was doing it, and even appeared to put his arm around him. Very odd little man.

come on guys...he is italian!

seriously though. Gattuso is a bad loser and generally a prick all the time anyway. I am very proud that our players did not go down to his level. Crouch wound him up a bit but fair play to walking away most of the time.

One of the 5Live reporters was lipreading Crouch when Gattuso grabbed at him & apparently, "Chill the fuck out!" was Crouchy's entirely reasonable retort...:)

I know his violence will catch the eye and he'll surely face serious sanctions, but was anyone else put out by his unbelievable shit throw-ins? They were like netball passes. At one point, they were chasing the game and actually waited for Gattuso to run over to specially take this throw, then he just flops it from in front of his face about two metres in front of himself. Pathetic.

Admittedly, the headbutt and throat-grab at Jordan, face scratch and elbow of Crouch and knee-capping of Pienaar put it in a milder light...

I just love the fact he took his glasses off before G*****o arrived. I like to think he said to the players around him as he came over 'Listen kids, I may be about to do some things that youngsters of your age shouldn't have to see... look after these for me'

His little tantrum was pretty funny, like a four-year-old with full facial hair.
I think I heard the commentator say earlier that he [Gattuso] was trying to turn the game into a scrap, which would have suited them [Milan]. Not really sure what he meant, but it suited us as they lost their heads, while we kept our cool. Summed up by the goal on the break, as well as the Gattuso/Jordan spat.

Do you think there was anything else happening down the tunnel after this? No doubt we'll see it on youtube if there is.

Woody was giving Gattuso a push as they were heading off down the tunnel, but the cameras cut away before it got juicy.

BBc report him saying
The Italian added: "I was nervous. We were both speaking Scottish, something that I learned when I played in his home city of Glasgow, but I can't tell you what we said.
So its either in English or he doesnt know what he said cos he shat his pants

Haha I love that! I wouldn't mess with our side, would you really like to piss of the likes of Gallas, Sandro, Sgt Wilson, and even Dawson and I bet Benny can be a beast if he wanted to!

Yep massive foul throws!!! My wife could throw it better.

I always liked Guttuso as a player though, proper little **** of a player, who gets stuck in.

Twitter really is a mystery to me. Not only do uou have to hear the ramblings of celebrity nobodies but also the thousands of people "retweeting" what's just been said as if it's the word of god...

You don't 'have' to hear anyone, you choose who you follow. And people 'retweet' things for a variety of reasons - usually because they're amusing. If you think everyone on there takes it all very seriously, you're sorely mistaken.

Isn't the whole 'slag off Twitter' thing kind of over? It's a free, fun service that can be very useful - as a journalist, I get story leads off there, I get prompted to other great bits of writing I may have missed, I see what my friends are up to, I organise meet-ups, I crowdsource opinion, I promote events, and much more.

It's the new form of email forward, but rather than just sending it to a couple of mates, you can potentially send it to thousands of people, who will respond and interact. Nothing more, nothing less.

Loved the Graeme Souness comments:

"he's a dog", "he's past it".

Fucking great!

Is it me or did Bassong grab/poke Gattuso's face after the the headbut. Fair play to him for stepping up - didn't think he had it in him.

Bassong went ape shit when gattuso knocked the stuff out of his hands!!! To be honest i would never chuck it with a man who has his nose pierced... U have to be either a hippy or super hard to get away with it!!!!
