We now book a clash with two of Europes finest...

Geovani Dos Santos who was hailed as the new Ronaldinho against Taarabt that people thought could be the next Zidane..

As years go by people seems to never get enough of Taarabt. He dances, dribbles and catches everyones eye everytime he is on the pitch.

Geovani has got the pace, the techinique and everything else that could lead to stardom...a hat-trick for Barca as his claim to fame...

There seems to be room for one, but who do we choose?

Two different players IMO.

Not easy to compare both.

Gio is probably better suited upfront to the left or right of a big striker, a potential Robben or Ribery given time and bit more attitude.

Taarabt has bags of attitude and would be great as a Modric style back up playing behind the striker/s either passing to the wings or having a go himself. He even shows a bit of guile in the opposition half as opposed to Gio's pace.

I favour Taarabt in the long run because of his attitude, he just needs to find that confidence in teamwork that will bring dividends.

Gio needs to be more selfish, but has not shown enough at this level.

I hope we stick with them for a little longer and see what we can do with them since they are still young. If neither makes it regularly into the starting line up or bench next season then we'll have to cut our losses.

GDS i think he has the potential to go all the way and well harry must develop both taraabt and GDS because they could 'potentially' turn out to be good/great players.

Probably GDS, he hasn't come this highly rated for nothing. However, because of his recent cameos I couldn't help but vote Taarabt, I can't help but love the little show pony.

Taarabt does nothing with the ball except dribble inside and out, before losing it. I wish he would pass more.
GDS is way ahead of him in his game, I like the look of him and he can finish too.

GDS for me.

In England, Taarabt, he's a bit better all round and taller and stronger, also, as people have said, he's got a resilient attitude as well.

Taarabt for his cameo against Arsenal at the Emirates last season alone. Funniest fucking thing I've ever seen...

gio for me, he has always looked a team player - taarabt will become a great player too, but at the moment he is as useful as that 4 year old toddler zizou

Both need to apply themselves and force their way into Harry's thoughts. I do think Tarrabt's physique is more suited to the Premiership, he is big and could be strong enough not to get bullied off the ball.

It was the step-over show, Kanoute-style. Nutmegged a couple of Gooners in the process. I've loved him ever since...

Notably the disguise nutmeg of Fagbregas on the half way line :hump:

There is a reason why Taraabt gets put on all of the big games and that is because he is a special player.

Two sets of players with a legion of pathetic supporters that delude themselves into thinking they are better than they actually are.

BTW, Gio only qualifies as a team player when you compare him to Taarabt, but so does virtually everyone else in football

More game time for both would help me decide. I do hope they both make it
