Now that is something that pisses me off. If a player is forcing a move or has told the club he wants to move that should immediately curtail his chance of any loyalty payment.

Yeah, one of those things that's massively in a players favour, the only way they can seemingly lose it is by officially handing in a transfer request no matter what is going on behind the scenes.

Di Marzio claiming that AC Milan and Juve are agreeing on a €40m deal for Bonucci!

That's an insane move by Juve, surely? If a PL club came in he could go for double that.

Djibril Sidibe signed a new five year deal with Monaco. Wasn't he another City target, or just their backup if they didn't get Walker?

Just reading about this now. Apparently they've agreed personal terms too.

Losing the youngest of the BBC to Milan, of all clubs. I just can't get my head around it.

Fucking hell. That will turn me to drink.

You don't just sell a world class defender to a rival like that. It's nuts! I know there has been some issues between him and Allegri but to sell him to Milan is ridiculous. It's like us selling Kane to Arsenal.

If he wants to leave then just let him go abroad. Not to bloody Milan...

Gylfi has asked to leave/for his future to be resolved but does not want to put a transfer request in due to his respect for the club (now his third time leaving Swansea)

He's gone, Swansea are just trying to hold out for as much money as they can but now at club level they need to reinvest it the club's a mess atm.

Club shop are now as we speak taking down all the Gylfi related stuff, and are now breifing the public saying you are not to buy a swansea shirt with Sigurddson on the back if you do you will not be refunded although anyone who has proof of purchase from before the 12th Of July will be refunded.

I actually get a lot of inside info from Swansea even more so since my change of job and its actually becoming quite funny. They Clubs a bit of a mess they need to invest this 45 Million in about 8 players to stay in the league.

Fans are going to riot when they replace their match winner with Nathaniel Chalobah.

Everyone needs to remember 50M for Gylfi is nothing to swansea if they are relegated though.
Heard anything about Mawson?

There was a rumour of us sounding our interest about 2 weeks ago I think, but I have heard nothing else since. Swansea's price for Mawson is about 22 Million.

I know clement rates Onomah so if we do deal can see him going on loan there,

Also Ben Davies has actually been using Swansea's gym to keep fit in the summer apparently.

I still can't get my head around the Bonucci move. £110k a week reported wage, which puts him on parity with Jese Lingard. One of the top 3 CB's in Italy and for a fee that actually doesn't seem ridiculous. Milan have had a great window so far, but this is definitely the best of the bunch.

Apparently Bonnuci has had some personal problems, ill child, and fallen out with some of the Juve management. Still strange to sell him to a rival, but I guess with his kid unwell he wouldn't want to move abroad.

You can only assume Bonucci didn't want to go abroad (or maybe Milan were his boyhood club and he refused to go anywhere else) and/or Milan were the only Italian club willing to pay 35m for a 30yo.

Agreed. But Italian defenders at 30 are only just hitting their peak in the slower pace of Serie A.

Maldini played until he was almost 40, and he's just one of many examples.

Bonucci could have six or seven seasons left in Italian football, so this is a coup for Milan.

I hadn't realised Poch's one time CB target Mateo Musacchio moved from Villareal to Milan in May.

I'm not sure quite how well he recovered from an appalling injury, but he passed his medical to sign in Italy.

I wonder why we weren't in for him, given the reported transfer fee was only 18 million Euros, and we've allegedly been quoted £30 million for Mawson and the likes of Keane and Maguire have gone for silly money.
