Apparently Liverpool are trying to sign angel correa for 28 mil euros. Can't see why Atleti would sell tho considering their transfer ban. Does seem to imply Couts will be off at some point, although I would imagine he will stay for one more season.

Atletico have signed Vitolo from Sevilla but he will join Las Palmas until January, then be transferred to Madrid. Atletico paid Vitolo the money to buy out his contract, making him free to sign for Las Palmas on a 6mth contract.
Sounds dodgy but there we go.. Atletico have been creative with their finances for a while.
To be honest, he is such a key player from them that it really isn't worth selling him.

Gylfi has asked to leave/for his future to be resolved but does not want to put a transfer request in due to his respect for the club (now his third time leaving Swansea)
He's gone, Swansea are just trying to hold out for as much money as they can but now at club level they need to reinvest it the club's a mess atm.
Club shop are now as we speak taking down all the Gylfi related stuff, and are now breifing the public saying you are not to buy a swansea shirt with Sigurddson on the back if you do you will not be refunded although anyone who has proof of purchase from before the 12th Of July will be refunded.
I actually get a lot of inside info from Swansea even more so since my change of job and its actually becoming quite funny. They Clubs a bit of a mess they need to invest this 45 Million in about 8 players to stay in the league.
Fans are going to riot when they replace their match winner with Nathaniel Chalobah.
Everyone needs to remember 50M for Gylfi is nothing to swansea if they are relegated though.

Everton were informed of the price almost 6 weeks ago.
Another 5 million and they will get him but by forcing Gylfi to kick up a fuss the price may go up.

Gylfi has never struck me as greedy or a trouble maker. Always seemed a 100% decent bloke.

He might be, but this is the usual scenario. They'll be confident a transfer can go through, so no point in forcing it, putting in a transfer request, and losing what is sometimes a considerable bonus.

Not really as I would get myself into trouble, as well as others.
But it was something to do with him not getting the ball as much as he would have liked.

Now that is something that pisses me off. If a player is forcing a move or has told the club he wants to move that should immediately curtail his chance of any loyalty payment.
