What's the deal with mendez, Wiki says that he has the majority share in Wolves so help me understand what he's doing with his clients and the club, whatever it is it sounds dodgy as fuck.

Would be interested in seeing a break down of how these transfers are conducted.
I read somewhere that he's basically using Wolves as a shop window for his players. Wolves get good players on the cheap, and it's a stepping stone for the players. And Mendez gets a huge cut.

Anyone watched any MLS football this season? I follow the Whitecaps a fair bit, and their Winger, Alphonso Davies is a talent! Still very very raw, but 17/18 years old! Has electric pace and has a habit of turning defenders inside out...

Contract expires this year (optional extension on the table) but would be a good coup I think...especially for the North American market!

He'll be moving to Bayern Munich in January on a deal worth up to 19 million USD. He's without a doubt the Canadian version of Pulisic where the future of the national team rests on his shoulders.

I can't help but to laugh when seeing that Richarlison reveal video. £40m :ROFLMAO:
I laughed at the blatant shot of the Angry Birds logo on the sleeve. I can't take them seriously when they've got Angry Birds splashed on the kit.

I’ll throw another one out there Lookman from Everton. I am amused Everton ain’t building around this player he’s class. I do wonder about scouting in England there are so many good players not been given chances in youth development and lower leagues.
Lookman would be a smart move for us ( I know it won’t happen but if it were up to me I’d snap him up Sharpe) he is a creative quick attacking player. It was unfortunate we never followed up on him at Charlton

Thought I heard that Leipzig were interested in making a permanent deal for him. He really impressed them this spring.

Atletico Madrid just signed Gelson Martins. They now have Griezmann, Costa, Lemar and Gelson Martins. What an attack they now have.

Probably won't be free, Sporting will take them to court the same way as Patricio and Wolves.

But that front line looks exceptional.

Don't understand people faulting Bordeaux or Malcom. More money + better club, seems like a no brainer. Any of you would have done the same.

What does that have to do with people being pissy about Malcom?

Barca also wanted to put Davinson on Barca B and wasn't that before he even went to Ajax?

Because you said 'anyone would have did the same thing' as in go to a massive club early on in their career at the risk of development and game time and I pointed out that Sanchez didn't.

Barca wanted Sanchez from Ajax but turned them down for us:

I’m not pissy about Malcom going to Barca, I just think he’s not necessarily made the smartest choice for his medium/long term career.

Doesn't that article state that all the Barca stuff was still prior to his transfer to Ajax? I can't possibly imagine Barca were willing to pay what we did if he was going to the second team. Its apples to oranges. I know its done sometimes, but I'm not going to fault the guy for joining Barcelona.
