So brazen you gotta respect it. Makes a mockery of any sort of financial parity regulations.
A new world record deal in the making

I wonder if the Saudi league will flame out like the Chinese league has appeared to. It's certainly the key distorting factor in this window. And a shame that players in their prime are willing to give up on truly competitive careers of achievement to play in a footballing backwater. A shame, but understandable given the cash trough.
State ownership of clubs and multi-club ownership being allowed in the same competition are pushing footy towards an uncompetitive and possibly grim future. There are so many ways around FFP now and Newcastle have an easy way to sell for exorbitant fees. Extraordinary really that 'we' (football governance and society) haven't come up with much stronger systems and are just allowing cultural institutions to fade away toward billionaire playthings.
The loophole for FFP the PL did not think about when the Saudis started "investing" in a PL club. Ah who am i kidding ,ofcourse they knew/know but the Lobbying UK governments is making sure they can do what they want, because they are so far up their ass in the need to keep trade going on. The PL has lost it's integrity slowly with how Chelsea started this, and now we will see Newcastle taking this to a new level, purely because how much influence the saudis ahve in the UK. You can not stop this :/A new world record deal in the making
In the meantime we need to be pushing hard for any deals there because may as well get on the train now and get the monies inI wonder if the Saudi league will flame out like the Chinese league has appeared to. Yeah - he's one of the most fun and eye-catching players in the league but Harvey Barnes scored more PL goals for a relegated Leicester last season than ASM has scored in 4 seasons combined. The fact that Newcastle want rid of SM tells you everything you need to know, he is another Adama Traore, flashy but no substance.
It's amazing and appalling in equal measure!

It is so Appealing...No, just appealing! Has to be one of the worst ones I have seen!
