If I'm honest I would a hundred percent take the money now. It would secure my boys future and that means much more to me than anything

If I was a premier League footballer earning millions , living my dream and still playing for my country? Not sure I would but we don't know what they have going on. They could have a gambling addict, a particularly demanding family, the way they all burn through money it wouldn't surprise me if many of them don't have much left at the end of the month and or give any thought to their future when they retire.

Regarding the noise he made I suspect someone asked him to say something, he was polite and showed interest and as he learned more he was happy to stick up for the cause but it probably doesn't see it as his cause so whilst I'm sure he meant what he said it doesn't come before his own life or needs.

Worth noting it's apparently a 3.5m loan, not a transfer.

Think that's a very good signing for them, even if it's pricey for a loan. He's got the quality to really help keep a team like Everton in the league.

I think he has said since leaving us in reflection he made the wrong choice, so fair play to him for having balls to go back to Everton and have a go of it for them.

Was criminally underused for us and I felt sorry for him to be honest, as we should have just let him go to Everton rather than waste half of a season of his career tbh ( I would have been giving him chances over an out of form Son as well).

You can understand them being pissed though, as we’d have been same if had happened to us (like with Diaz when Liverpool swooped in and nicked him from under our noses).

Hopefully he’ll win them over (although not by being doubly determined to put us to the sword in their games against us!).

I'd argue both would be starting right now - certainly Torres at LCB and a case can be made for Diaby over Kulusevski.

Diaby widely considered a better prospect with more to his all round game than Bailey but valid comparison.

Quite a few through Champions League and the odd Bundesliga match here and there. I'm not saying he's a bad player but I'm not sure how he improves this Spurs team. There's a reason his options were Villa and Saudi Arabia.
