He played 18 times last season without a goal and only one assist. Wolves obviously had problems with not having goalscorers but I think clubs are very wary that he hasn't looked right after his bad injury.

Yeah fair, just looking at his stats now. I guess he’s just one of those players I’m surprised no one’s taken the punt, maybe on a cheaper deal to see if they can ‘revive’ him.

For that money I’d have hoped for better than Caicedo and Enzo as my 2 starters tbh. Both good players but I don’t think either are top 10 CM’s in the PL at this point
Caicedo has Kante potential, if he comes close to that potential he will be worth it. At the very least with Lavia and Caicedo they have most mobile midfield in the league, with plenty of work rate. One bad injury and he gets screwed like Sandro or Wanyama but someone will still want to buy him for 30m minimum. Worth the risk for them.

I think that’s going too far. He’s nowhere near as quick or good on the ball as Kante, he’s quick but Kante was rapid. Prime Kante did the work of 2 top midfielders, he was that good. Caicedo hasn’t shown anywhere near enough to suggest he’s got that kind of potential.

I disagree, he is insanely quick and good at everything defensively. He has definitely shown that potential which is why Brighton bought him and why both Klopp and Pochettino wanted to spend crazy money on him.

As quick as Kante? Nah. Also nowhere near as good on the ball. We’ll see who’s right in about 3-4 years when he’s in his prime I guess

Raya to Arsenal on loan with 1 year on his contract seems crazy from Brentford, or am I missing something here?

Gives excellent depth there for Arsenal now, but I do see him sitting on the bench most of the season.

Chelsea closing in on Olise now too.

Fully expect either him or lavia to be out on loan in about two seasons
