Wenger should have shipped out Sanchez and Ozil at the beginning of the summer, then used the funds to rebuild the team.

Definitely. They could have bought Lemar before Monaco sold off their team, instead of now looking at Liverpool getting closer to him. Instead he came out with something about keeping them for the season being worth the fees or whatever it was.. Oxlade-Chamberlain is doing what's right for his career. Mustafi looks like he's off to Inter (on loan).

How does Sanchez fit into Citys already crowded attacking options at least one of them has to be moved out, Pep can't keep them all happy surely?

Its bizarre. I didn't really believe City were interested. Nobody else wants/can afford him. He's priced himself out of a move with his wages if you believe what you read.

Like so

GK
Walker Kompany Stones Mendy
Fernandinho
Jesus De Bruyne D.Silva Sanchez
Aguero

Frightening
A physical team like Man U would destroy that team, that front five are all about 5 foot 8.

They struggled to beat a poor Bournemouth team last weekend with a similar set up and if Josh King hadn't fucked up that 2 on 2, Man City could have easily lost that game.

Nobody seems to want Ozil. Or at least nobody seems to want to meet his wage demands.

Monaco have reached a £27.9m agreement with Lazio to sign Keita Balde, according to Sky in Italy.
Just saw that on another thread. What a kick in the bollocks.

Judging by the price on this one being around the £28 million mark, I would have thought this could have been within our price range so presumanly it has come down to the player looking for more money.

Like, why would you want to play in front of 9,000 people every other week, if it's not about money? Blast him anyway. I had a bad feeling about his character these last few days.

City have two central strikers, after selling Ian Nacho, if one gets injured or suspended they'll surely need someone else who can play the role?

No implications for us, except it looks like the Goons, Chels, and to an extent the four big north west clubs remain firmly in the market for players in various positions which Levy probably wasn't expecting and may not have the tools to deal with. Hopefully we don't get run out of the business we want to do. Freshening up the front four is clearly needed.

It's almost as if we should have got our business done a bit earlier to avoid this sort of situation.
