Ive just seen that hes retrned from international duty. He has played in Brazils recent world cup qualifyers and is an automatic choice. Have we seen the best of him?

Surely he must have something if he starts for Brazil?

Well yes, that's probably why we bought him. I can't imagine Ramos thinking, 'oh look, he's a bit useless and has very little talent, let's buy him to make Zokora/Jenas/Chimbonda/Robinson/*insert other scapegoat here* feel better about himself'.

He had a dodgy debut, granted, but that doesn't mean he's a bad player. I expect we'll see more of him this year.

The thing is, hes never really been rated highly. But somehow he gets in Brazils first 11??

Bizarre.

The guy came in during the last window, a bit last minute because of his fitness status.

He got over his injury, got fit and played and had a mare of a match.

Since then he's slowly found his way around the pace of the Premiership and ended up LM in front of Chimbo.

This season he will have had the benefit of the pre-season programme and there's no doubt that he'll feature regularly if Chimbonda is going.

He was shocking against Venezuela and Paraguay. Always gets stuck in the half way line and rarely returns after going forward
