Watched the game, like everyone else...pissed off we made such hard work of it after dominating the first half. But just saw the table and we second. (Get in).

Sign of a good side?

This post is not made to be a party pooper, but we must be realistic. We've met some really poor opponents in the PL so far. However, you can only beat what's in front of you, and we've been doing that. So the glass is somewhere between half full and half empty.

Tough game, but we won it. And without Dier, Dembele and Kane. So, good for me.

City next is massive. 1st against 2nd if Liverpool don't win.

That sort of 2nd half performance next weekend and we can say goodbye to our unbeaten record.

We've a good record against City. I think it will be close. The crowd could help us win. We will be up for it.

So have Man City, doesn't stop everyone wanking over them so yeah let's be realistic, you're right you can only beat what's in front of you and we've been quietly going on about our business.

They've had 800 dodgy penalties too

We probably need a game against a tough side who are actually better than us to actually drag us into a bit of consistency. Sometimes it's too easy. Away helps as well.

Indeed. I think having a solid 90+mins+win against tough oppos. would help us properly engage.

12 points of 14 total vs. Palace, Stoke, Sunderland, and 'Boro.
2 of 14 vs Liverpool and Everton. Which means we still are not able to defeat teams that are possibly top 4 quality.
We need a real PL test to know more about where we are in relation to the best in the league.
But such a treat to go on a winning run vs poor teams, that is worthy of excitement even if we have a few open questions.

Anybody with a 'glass half empty' attitude when we are sitting second in the league after 6 matches and when we remain unbeaten needs a slap round the bake as they say in our part of the world.

Liverpool are shit hot right now - absolutely top class. Could they beat us? Nope. We are a bloody hard team to beat right now. I'm very happy with that.

People are wanking over city because they are destroying those poor teams whereas we are one half good n one half bad team...

Liverpool beat Arsenal and Chelsea away. At least we got a point.
