It would end up being Davies, Dier and Romero because Davies is better than Lenglet and the balance would work better than having Bremer on the side.
Bremer may displace Dier over time though.
Absolutely no idea how it all works out. To be honest I get a bit frustrated when people talk numbers in here, like they have any idea what our budget really looks like, how the deals work, what's due from past deals and so on. I think it's very interesting for sure, but it's something none/few of us, save probably our ITKs, know anything about. So I tend to skip past that stuff.
Little rant aside, I get where you're coming from. Seems maybe a mix between not wanting to massively overpay for targets like Bastoni, Raphinha, Gvardiol as well as being in a good position to actually achieve high quality players like Bremer for a lower fee. If we don't need to spend 200 million, there's no reason to. We then have money in the bank for when a top target is more available later on. Or it could be we're working low-key on a huge signing we don't know about, so the money is going there.
Once again, I haven't the farthest, but I've become very confident that we are in very good hands under our new management team, and I'm very excited for whatever will be.

From everything I am reading from Italian press for days & Inter forum....basic premise is ,
Skrinar will be replaced by 2 players - Milenkovic & Bremer.
For Bremer - Moratta will offer Loan + Obligation to buy for 28-30m eur.
Tottenham have been mentioned only as interested party as he has given the word for Inter
GDS is also saying, Torino will ask for 50m Eur. So , may be we are in background hiking the price.
So, If ,we land Bremer, full marks to @What Lies Beneath , because no where in Italian press even today considered serious or even in picture for him

Is Davies better though? Is Davies a better creative defender than lenglet… who is absolutely quality on the ball…? He has been poor in a back 4 in a Barca side that was struggling, but do you think Davies would do well in that situation?
Maybe we won’t but would seem strange not to when he have money, so many European clubs are fucked for money and there are players in the prem available who instantly elevate our squad.

I completely agree but do you see Bremer going to a club were he isn’t a starter? I know Conte likes to rotate but most managers don’t like to rotate their back line as much as the rest of the team (excluding WB). Considering he seems in high demand I just don’t see him coming here to be the 4th defender. i could be wrong of course. I don’t know, Bermer to me always seemed like a slightly odd target all things considered. But he is quality so I certainly wouldn’t be displeased with him.

That's 4 for attack and 4 for defence who are all capable of being in the first team. That leaves Moura and Sanchez as 2 capable squad players but aren't good enough to be regular first teamers. If we can replace those 2 as well this window with players capable of starting we'll look good. Add to that the 4 who can all start in a midfield 2 and 2 first team quality left wing backs. That leaves only right wing back to complete a perfect windows.
Still some way to go but if we can get Bremer and Richarlison before pre season that's fantastic business.

Bremer signs and he starts, no doubt in my mind. Dier and Davies are very good players, but Bremer is absolutely elite.
Believe it or not, he’s actually slightly better than Romero defensively. No he’s not the great passing outlet we expected for the backline, but if he signs then that means Conte has accepted that he needs to adjust his system to be able to fit in an absolutely elite player.

He could also work on his aerial efficiency as he doesn’t dominate enough in the air, especially in a defensive capacity. In 2021/22, he only won 51.9% of his aerial duels – something he will certainly want and need to improve if he is to reach the next level.

I'd love to know how Conte feels about Dier. Does he think he's upgradeable or does he feel he's the man to build the defence around?
If Bremer comes in, logically it would be Dier to make way. Lenglet being discussed also on paper looks like Conte is planning to upgarde the entire backline Romero excluded.
