We should just sign the Serie A defender of the season every year.
What could be our first choice defensive lineup if we signed Bremer and Lenglet?
Absolutely no idea how it all works out. To be honest I get a bit frustrated when people talk numbers in here, like they have any idea what our budget really looks like, how the deals work, what's due from past deals and so on. I think it's very interesting for sure, but it's something none/few of us, save probably our ITKs, know anything about. So I tend to skip past that stuff.Low-key what are we doing with all the money! Bremer is apparently 30 million euros and Lenglet will be a loan with option! Richarlison will be offset with Winky and Bergjwin leaving!
I am intrigued.
Same. I’m very confused as to where we are going to spend the money. Seems we’ll have so much money to spend if that’s the case.Low-key what are we doing with all the money! Maybe we won't spend all the money??Same. I’m very confused as to where we are going to spend the money. Seems we’ll have so much money to spend if that’s the case.
Is Davies better though? Is Davies a better creative defender than lenglet… who is absolutely quality on the ball…? He has been poor in a back 4 in a Barca side that was struggling, but do you think Davies would do well in that situation? It would end up being Davies, Dier and Romero because Davies is better than Lenglet and the balance would work better than having Bremer on the side.
Bremer may displace Dier over time though.
Maybe we won’t but would seem strange not to when he have money, so many European clubs are fucked for money and there are players in the prem available who instantly elevate our squad.Maybe we won't spend all the money??
I completely agree but do you see Bremer going to a club were he isn’t a starter? I know Conte likes to rotate but most managers don’t like to rotate their back line as much as the rest of the team (excluding WB). Considering he seems in high demand I just don’t see him coming here to be the 4th defender. i could be wrong of course. I don’t know, Bermer to me always seemed like a slightly odd target all things considered. But he is quality so I certainly wouldn’t be displeased with him.Bremer seems like a good signing but hope it doesn't force us to skimp out on a LCB (If any of the more expensive options are even available) as to me that's the easiest way to upgrade the first XI now we've sorted a LWB and a CM. Something like Bremer/Lenglet/a premium forward would be good for depth but wouldn't be a guarantee of a big upgrade to the starting XI for me.
lots of pieces of a jigsawFrom everything I am reading from Italian press for days & Inter forum....basic premise is ,
Skrinar will be replaced by 2 players - Milenkovic & Bremer.
For Bremer - Moratta will offer Loan + Obligation to buy for 28-30m eur.
Tottenham have been mentioned only as interested party as he has given the word for Inter
CDS is also saying, Torino will ask for 50m Eur. So , may be we are in background hiking the price.
So, If ,we land Bremer, full marks to @What Lies Beneath , because no where in Italian press even today considered serious or even in picture for him
I will start preparing mentaly for a work permit saga
Bremer signs and he starts, no doubt in my mind. Dier and Davies are very good players, but Bremer is absolutely elite.
Believe it or not, he’s actually slightly better than Romero defensively. No he’s not the great passing outlet we expected for the backline, but if he signs then that means Conte has accepted that he needs to adjust his system to be able to fit in an absolutely elite player.
