I like quite a few at the moment:

Steed's away at Man City in the Carling Cup.
Keane's & Lennon's in the CC semi at WHL.
Gone but not forgotten: Jermain Defoe's fantastic piece of athleticism to equalise away at Aston Villa.

Keane's goal v Chelsea for me. It'll just get better if it proves to be the goal that stopped Chelsea winning the league

Anyone can score a header... but to score a facer is incredible!

I agree about the lack of spectacular goals. Given the amount we've scored this season, the fact is only 1 or 2 of them have been real belters

Keane against sunderland, it has to be first because it was a landmark goal, and it was just like anyother so speical..........OK Keane against Chelsea prob. was the best. But in all honesty who gives a toss that we havent scored a real spectacular goal in the last 3 seasons!!??.
The season before tho' we had 2 brilliant goals in Edman.and Defoe against Ars*nal in the 5-4 loss..........still one hell of a game. lets not forget that goal

eh... TT last year. hud last year, Berbatov about 8 last year but the besiktas double dummy of the defender and the keeper, the turn and finsih against wigan, the first timer against pargue and the steered volley agsint boro stand out most. Oh my god i just remember the keane goal against blackburn at home juggling it past 2... and his volley double agaisnt foolham in the cup. Jenas crisp 20yrder agsint arseanl last season.

This year?!?! what about Berbs's over the shoulder drop and tap in against Reading.??Classsssssss mate. Keanes goal agsint Chavs, Berb's volley against PSV. does Bales free kick count? jenas' first against scum in cup.

in truth we've scored lots of good un in recent past... possibly less than some others, probably more than some too.

I'm always waiting for Hudd or Steed to score a real belter

Keane's against blackburn in 05-06 was also memorable

I thought Berbs goal vs Boro (I think, the one that Ghaly crossed and berbs just span and hit) last season was pretty spectacular. Not a 40 yarder, but spectacular none the less.

As were one or two Berbs scored in Europe last season.

This season (so far), +1 for Keano

depends what you define as a an awsome goal, Spurs aren't a side to have that many long distance attempts (unless you count Zoko's 1 wild lash per game)

we like to take teams apart with our passing which is sometimes more skillful than catching a ball sweetly from 30yds which still contains a lot of luck

Bale's against Fulham was good...fast flowing precise football. Berbatov scored a good goal in this match too.

For technique Berbatov against Reading, PSV, Keane's 2nd against Liverpool, huddlestone against Chelsea to name a few.

For pure drama and heart stopping excitement Kaboul verses Villa, woodgate in the final.

But most spectacular has to be Keane V Chelsea.

So just a few great goals there (they don't all have to be screamers!!)

As a flip side anyone remember any great misses this season? I would have Bent V Arse in the league at home any others?
