The hate for Glory Gunner seems a bit unnecessary. He's offered his opinion - didn't see anything insulting on it. Not like that Toelda(?), the Liverpool fan that posts on here and comes across as a bit of a dick.

I would have thought even gooner fans would be welcomed to join in the debates on here as long as they're not antagonistic. I've seen posters on Arse, City, and United forums that are openly Spurs fans.

I was going to debate with him but after looking at his post history, it looks to me like he came here to troll.

In general most people that want to have rational discussion don't choose a handle that would be overly inflammatory... Unfortunately, seeing "glory gunner" doesn't seem very welcoming, hence my polite gif.

But Higuain would be a good signing for Arsenal... We arent getting him so i see no reason to not continue the debate on how he might sign for the Woolich and what that means to them.

In this thread at least i see no issue with what glory gunner has said. Other threads maybe...

At the end if the day im not overly bothered what Arsenal do, we cant influence it either way and i would rather participate in debate than wax lyrical over a player we are clearly not signing ourselves.

Reports in Argentina claim Gonzalo Higuain's father - and agent - Jorge has finally been given permission by Real Madrid to open talks with Arsenal.

Looks like it could happen afterall..... Arsene realise he cant sign any good strikers without paying top money.

Any particular reason Real seem so keen to be rid of him? Seems to have been playing and scoring plenty for them. Bit gutted the Gooners are getting him really. Fingers crossed for Villa.

Well, I can only hope that Madrid bleed Arsenal dry for as much money as possible. Anything under £26m ish is a good deal for Arsenal, anything over £30m is a great price for Madrid and would at least put a reasonable dent into Arsenal's coffers. They can have him if they must, but he better cost them a pretty penny

Higuain wants to leave. And Perez wants him gone, even if he doesn't show it to the media. He's a purchase from the previous president.

I thought Spurs fans were supposed to have class?

Okay he supports the scum and they will forever be scum, but lets face it, it would be fucking boring without the rivalry and banter.

No one would pay 30m for Higuain. If he signs it will be for <26m for sure.

I thought that until I saw some article on here somewhere ( or was it a Madrid poster ), who seemed to have a completely different set of larger figures and stated that this signing will be a real problem for Arsenal unless their bids increase a fair bit

It is, if people want to discuss then that's fine, but if people want too just abuse posters then it wont carry on

This is not true. If you understand spanish I'd link a vid of Floren commenting on Higuaín right after seeing Higuaín's interview where he stated he want to leave. In 2010 Floren tripled Higuaín's wage when whole Europe was after him.

Floren hasn't signed a player since Robinho. Kaká and Ronaldo were necessary because Audi, Coca Cola and 12 other companies threatened to either reduce the amount of money they invest in the club or pull out completely.

Anyway Higuaín right now is closer to stay than to leave, but the relationship between the board and his family is quite bad so a move will always be likely if the right offer come in.

We won't sign another forward even if Higuaín leave which makes it even harder for potential buyers because he's still considered part of the 1st team.

Arsenal don't have money, they won't sign him anytime soon unless they are prepared to spend big money. Media is just making things up

Spanish is my native language. What Perez says to the media is different from what he wants.
He may have tripled his wages but that's because he had no choice. It would've been a political disaster for him if he sold him.
I am from Argentina, and have family working for River Plate, and they've always told me that Perez didn't want Higuain because he was a buy from the previous president. And that comes from Jorge Higuain, his father and also former player of River.

Arsenal better sign him, otherwise who do you think they will turn to instead? I'll give you a clue, it's not Aston Villa

I have seen the video of him at the airport (not entirely sure which airport though!).
They say he is on his way to North London..maybe, just maybe Goonersville is a smokescreen for Lillywhite Land. :sneaky:
