It really does make me cringe how he gets the names wrong, malbrank i find esp annoying. i love the way peter drury always tries to say the players name soon after as if to correct the kerb-crawling tosspot.

I hate Channel 5's coverage and I get crap reception in my flat too. Pleat is hugely annoying though! The worst commentator on tv I reckon - I'd rather have Lawro!!

apart from the obvious crap coverage on C5, i wouldn't necessarily say we play better on C5. as far as i can see, although we lost against PSV, we played a lot better than against slavia prague - we were woeful then.

oh yeah and collin murray in rubbish

Im glad its on five purely so i dont have to listen to Pleat waffle on, he really really does my head in. Listening to him state the obvious, mix up players and generally pronounce names badly is so embaressing.

ahh pleat my god he is truly an idiot!

"shimbomba to lennon. you know i bought young lennon for spurs for 1million pounds what a great man i am"

tosser

and i think i heard him say tarrabat! LOL at dislexia

Pleat drives me crazy he is like "Robbie Keane is such a great player, thats why I brought him" thats why you braught Postiga in too!!, is it!!! Such a show off, and he couldnt give a toss about tottenham. All he cares about is "his players"

great news, no pleat and no bomba

For shame, the lot of you.

Yes he talks senile, nonsensical shite and smells of wee but that doesn't make him him a twat, it makes him some sort of collective yiddo grandad that we should all have to put up with on big family occasions like the one we have tonight, until the day he dies.

If you were my kids I'd slap your legs.

I love that someone else has the same superstitious streak as I have. I listened to all the Carling Cup games (where possible) on the radio, so wouldn't watch the final on the box - and look how that worked.
I feel the same about the European games and I'd rather watch us on Five or ITV 4 for that reason. When we were on ITV1 last week I just knew it would go wrong!!
But my lucky Spurs top is coming out tonight and I'll sit a certain way on a certain bit of the sofa and it'll all work out for the best!!!
Remember to keep your eyes closed on the way home in case you see a single Magpie (the bird, not a Newcastle fan, that is)!!!!

Its my fault we lost to Birmingham and PSV as I didnt have my Spurs calender turned from Feb to March. You will all be pleased to know that this is now sorted and we will win every game from now on (if i remember to turn from march to april when its time).

Ya b'stard!

And there was me thinking it was my fault coz I was out of the country for those two and didn't have my Spurs mug(s) with me to drink my coffee out of on matchday mornings.

Remedied today of course.

Oh and SHUT UP Pleaty you toss pot!

Bowman said a couple of years ago that every seat Colin Murray sits in had to have a hole cut out the bottom of it due to his elongated coccyx 'tail', almost certainly a wind-up but I've looked for tell-tale signs of chair modifications ever since.

Other than that I think he's pretty decent towards Spurs whenever he talks about us. The tail wagging freak!

And if I'd only remembered my '91 Semi-Final scarf and original Holsten shirt when I went to my mate's we wouldn't be one down against PSV. :bang:

Remedied now, safely stored in the boot of my car to mitigate against such mistakes in future!

I thought Colin Murray might be that cretin with the glasses, so google-imaged him to check. It sure was.

Didn't really want to see him with his cock out though.
