I don't understand that. How can it be interpretation of the offside rule. The defender deliberately played it, so surely it's a new phase?

That offside decision baffles the fuck out of me.

Almost like the officials knew Tunisia were out so "found" a reason to disallow the equaliser.

Hey mate, if you honestly enjoy the football Australia play then more power to you.

For me it’s shocking stuff and an eyesore. But that’s what they have to do to compete at this level.

Blimey - if we're an eyesore what do you make of Denmark?

Having seen it now - I can understand the logic - Griezmann was offside when the ball was played in, and never took himself out of the play. So the subsequent header by the defender was not relevant.

Honestly - I like that interpretation, because I hate when defenders have to worry about an off-side attacker when deciding how to play the ball.

Congrats Australia. Like I said nothing against them as a side or a country, it’s just that it’s fucking boring is all.
You know that you don't have to watch them, right? ?

Congrats to our friends down under, you must be absolutely buzzing at that.
If some say the football is dull (it isn't really) the team spirit makes up for that.
A real battling, team performance.

And commiserations to the Danes, was expecting more from you guys but you've been toothless really.

I mean I know I'm biased but I'd reckon I'd be excited for any team as "under dog" as Australia is at this World Cup regardless of their style

How can he be interfering with play if he’s never actually interfering with play?
