This entire thing is a fucking shit show. The greatest good it could do is shine a proper light on FIFA’s corruption, if it wasn’t obvious already.

How on earth was that an offside?
Unbelievable, corruption of FIFA is disgusting.

They've given offside because of the keeper being beyond his defence so only one defender between Valencia and goal.

but different phase of play?
Not Valencia. The Ecuadorian who heads it after the keeper's misjudged it was apparently offside, his foot was in front of the keeper's arse.

Apparently.

The yellow leg below the keeper is the one who's judged offside.

I actually want to see four more Ecuador goals ruled out by VAR, just to see the epic drama and fallout.

That player that was "offside" wasn't involved before at least three more headers/touches from other players.
That is a truly laughable decision.

At the rate Qatar is playing this could set the record for goals called back for offsides for all professional and amateur matches played since people were kicking about skulls

And so it begins.
Unless impossible to do so, any and every goal Qatar concede in the group stage will be ruled out!

haha they definitely been bought - why was that ruled no goal
I think when the header was won with the keeper, the forward was just offside. Similar to Kane vs Chelsea where Kepa came out.

Just so on brand for this WC that the very first VAR controversy would be a goal ruled out against Qatar.
