The Poo ??

Yeah, I totally agree with that prediction. It would be completely at home at the 'Stamford Toilet'. ;)

I wonder if Gus will take his coaching staff with him, or will he leave his number two behind?

Yes, that was stolen from Football Weekly.

Could put a whole new meaning to the phrase "when the shit hit's the fan though" Don't want anyone hurling shit at me at WHL tbf.

Although tbh, I suppose I've seen enough shit from Spurs* in my many years going. ;)

*Can I assure you I'm a Spurs fan so hope I'm am allowed to talk like this!

Oscar Garcia named new head coach of Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton & Hove Albion have named former Barcelona midfielder Oscar Garcia as their new head coach in the wake of Gus Poyet's dismissal.

The 40-year-old Spaniard, who quit as Maccabi Tel Aviv manager last month, will take up his new post on Thursday.

"I'm delighted to have the opportunity to work in English football for the first time," said Garcia.
Chairman Tony Bloom said Garcia would help Brighton prepare for the forthcoming Championship campaign.
Brighton said the post of head coach was a newly created role.

"We are delighted to have Oscar here to help us prepare for the new season and plan what promises to be another exciting campaign for the club," added Bloom.

Former boss Poyet was sacked on Sunday, but the Uruguayan is set to appeal against the decision.
Poyet received news of his dismissal on Sunday evening while working for BBC Sport on their Confederations Cup coverage, but the club insist the 45-year-old was "aware his dismissal was pending".
Poyet, assistant Mauricio Taricco and coach Charlie Oatway were suspended last month pending an internal inquiry into alleged breaches of contract.

Taricco had his ban lifted, but has left the club by mutual consent, while Oatway is still suspended.
Meanwhile, Maccabi have announced that assistant boss Ruben Martinez and fitness coach Juan Torrijo Navaro have left to "continue their partnership with Oscar Garcia".

Garcia played for Barcelona for six years and also coached the club's youth team before guiding Maccabi to the league title last season.

When I was in a cubicle at school once having a slash I spotted that someone had done a steamer on the floor next to the urinal.

Fuck knows how they managed to balance to do that, to this day I'm still not sure whether I was disgusted or impressed. or maybe even a little bit of both...

We had a kid like that at school. To be fair it was pretty disgusting but although I've forgotten a lot of people from school I'll always remember The Phantom Shitter.

So is Gus the phantom shitter or what?

Such a weird story that would be even weirder if that was the case. Gus was the whistle-blower originally, wasn't he? It seems amazing that he could be sacked for simply asking "whodunnit?", so there must be more to the story.

So... Gus has been fired because he objected to a player (or nine) making a dirty protest in the away dressing room? Yet whoever did it is sitting around anonymous and employed? First things first, if that is the case, then someone needs to seriously wonder about the type of "hobby" the board members have amongst them to find the culprit less a villain than Gus, but equally, why has the cleaner not been arrested for sticking his mop up the arse of whoever the protester was? If i was the cleaner and i came in to that, i'd go around their house and push it all through their letter box and when they came to see who was pushing turds onto their doormat, i'd feed them the f*cking doormat.

It also leads me to wonder (a thought which i had a long time ago when someone made a similar dirty protest in A&E at the hospital i worked at), considering the amount of poo involved, do they do it before hand and transport it to the scene in a bucket, or do they just bung up for days, save it all up, then just poo for the lord on the spot and distribute as required? I mean, the logistics are something never really considered in these situations and, whilst i understand it's really not that important, doesn't it make you wonder?

I thought he was in trouble for sending out an email to everyone at the club saying how disgusting he thought it all was. Sacking him seems very harsh.

I heard some info on this tonight. No reason to doubt the source, and if it is true certainly wouldn't make Poyet look very good at all.

Damn, I really like Gus, hope it's nothing too damaging. Mind you you can take the man out of Chelsea...
