I'd take him over dan James and traore for sure, but needs to be a v good price if buying from Chelsea

It makes sense as he’s a much more like for like replacement for Kulu. He’s not as physical but their style is similar. You could swap them in and out for each other. Makes much more sense than Traore or James

Why would Chelsea strengthen us. Just cannot see the two clubs doing a deal - we never do.

It depends on the strength of the player's desire to join us.

If he's determined then Chelsea would be foolish not to try and extract the best possible price from us.

We're talking about a squad player here, not an elite game changer next level one.

Maybe they think the player they don't want, who really has done very little for them, doesn't strengthen us.

If Chelsea came calling for Tanganga instead of Gvardiol. I don't think we'd put down the phone nowadays with Roman gone, maybe i'm wrong.

Quite like Ziyech personally and wouldn't be against it.

I actually think Tuchel is a terrible man manager, and this guy might bang in a different environment.

I remember him looking awesome against us for Ajax, and he was good against us for Chelsea too. At Ajax I'm sure he had incredible fitness levels bombing up and down the pitch all game

Really rated him when at Ajax but always felt he didn’t quite fit the league really, never seen him look particularly good at Chelsea. Idk, kind of feels like a player we might be trying to shift in a season or two. Really tho, I don’t know why Chelsea would sell to us.

I have a pal who is extremely sensible and decent in everything he does except that he supports chelsea. He thinks that there is no reason to think that the new owners would not now trade with us, just like any other club, from what he knows and has seen. I don’t know about this player at this time but things have shifted there for obvious reasons, so keep an eye on it.

Hey mate, sorry I know it’s not for this thread but tagged you in a question about bastoni. Do you know why he’s not starting many games for inter atm?

Spurs, Chelsea and the goons are fighting for the two remaining Champions League places - I cannot understand why they would sell him to us unless they really really really want him out for some reason or they need the cash. Struggling to see what's in it for them and why they would they help a direct rival, to say nothing of the fact that the two clubs don't really like each other that much !!

The Chelsea bench last night wasn't that inspiring either, they have a few players out but not many dynamic attacking options.

Oh sorry bud, I completely missed that! Not much to read into atm, he was really poor against Lazio but that was largely due to their left side being a bit of a mess atm in general as Gosens who they thought would be taking over from Perisic just doesn’t get the tactics. inzaghi also likes to rotate all his players (defenders included) when he can. He tinkers a lot. I’d be very surprised if he wasn’t starting again on the weekend. At this point there’s nothing to read into it. Unfortunately for us.
