By the end of the week we would have played half of the Season. Who would you consider your Player the season to date? Last year this time it was Sandro but (for obvious reasons) he was overtaken by Bale by the end of the season.

Funnily enough, I had never voted for him this season in any of the match ratings but to date I would have Kyle Walker as my Player of the Season so far.

I have set up a pole and included only those I think you would consider. The likes of Capoue, Lamela and Kaboul (not enough games) and others like Naughton I have excluded. If you think one of these is your choice vote Other.

I'm with you on Walker. Yes, he's made some mistakes but overall he's been solid this season so far and his attacking is improving as well. I can't really see anyone else that close to him even so far. If Verts had been able to play CB, Sandro fit all season and Paulinho continued his early form then possibly but the others have been patchy at best when it comes to form. I'm sure there'll be votes for Townsend but to me he's still an end product waiting to happen. Honourable mention for Holtby who was improving with more games and a more commanding central role and I'm hoping he's allowed to grow.

Vlad The Impaler for me. Though he came in late he went straight in and put in some stellar performances early part of the season with a record that said if he played we didn't lose. He got injured and AVB lost his job because of it.

Another vote for Walker from me. I've been a big critic of him but he's been very consistent, his defending has definitely improved and in recent weeks there's signs that his attacking play is improving as well.

Walker, no ifs, ands or buts about it. He has played nearly every game and besides a couple idiotic moves, has been the most consistent member of the squad. I have seen a dramatic decrease in those idiotic fouls he made when tracking players (where he would hug or push the player).

Walker got it for me almost by default.

Nobody else has been consistent enough and/or played enough.

He has been pretty decent though overall

Vlad, new signing and apart from Saturday hes been impressive.
For a defender to come to what most people describe as the hardest league in the world and settle in quick, is why he gets my vote, otherwise it would been walker.

Walker so far. Really hope at the end of the season it will be someone else (don't mean anything against Walker by that)
