From the same website "Plus point tonight, Kane, given the right service will score goals" - or words to that effect

He also played up top which makes it more likely that we will see mason playing off him during the season if he ever manages to get fit

Dagenham & Redbridge 0-0 Millwall HT: Millwall have had the better chances, but League Two Dagenham will still fancy their chances of an upset after frustrating their Championship visitors. Harry Kane, on loan from Tottenham, has caused the home defence plenty of problems but it remains goalless.

Millwall v Dagenham & Redbridge
HT snapshot:
"On-loan Tottenham man Harry Kane has added some top-class cutting edge to Millwall and his goal on the stroke of half time looks to have killed this tie off. It's a long way back for the Daggers from here."

Nice to see.

Yep, two goals from Harry and also an assist and won a pen.

Millwall goal: The Lions score again, with the excellent Harry Kane grabbing his second of the night, heading home from close range after a cross from the left is nodded into his path. There won't be a hat-trick for him, though, because he is immediately replaced by Josh McQuoid.

Got a very flattering write-up from the BBC:

Darius Henderson hit a hat-trick as Millwall cruised past Dagenham & Redbridge to book an FA Cup fourth-round tie with Southampton.

Henderson opened the scoring at the New Den when he fired in after Harry Kane's shot fell to him before Kane doubled the Lions' lead from 20 yards.

Henderson tapped in the third from Liam Trotter's pass before adding his third from the penalty spot.

On-loan Tottenham youngster Kane then added his second goal with a header.

Millwall, thumped 6-0 by Birmingham City at the weekend, made a shaky start as Dominic Green almost capitalised on an errant backpass.

But Henderson calmed any nerves with Millwall's opener.

Kane's 30-yard shot was tame but fell fortuitously at Henderson's feet and the former Watford man was able to curl into the top corner from 10 yards.

Kane then lashed a long-range shot right through Daggers keeper Chris Lewington to make it 2-0 before the League Two side hit the crossbar from Billy Bingham's swirling cross-shot.

The visitors enjoyed a strong 10-minute spell after the break but their sprit was crushed by a three-goal burst in six minutes for Millwall.

First Henderson was on hand to complete a sweeping move which ended in him sliding home a Liam Trotter pass, and he then struck from the spot after Kane was fouled by Oluwafemi Ilesanmi to bring up his second treble of the season.

Kane - who was superb throughout - completed the rout when he headed in a cross from the left from close range.

The Tottenham youngster, who was not born when Spurs last won the FA Cup in 1991, was at the heart of everything and could yet prove a useful asset for Harry Redknapp.

RE Ryan Mason

The 20-year-old midfielder agreed to sign for the Lions at the beginning of January on loan for the rest of the season, but promptly suffered a groin injury and is still at White Hart Lane receiving treatment.
"I'm not too sure when he'll be back," said Millwall assistant manager Joe Gallen.
"We thought we would have him by now but that's not going to be the case until towards the end of the month.
"He picked up a groin strain and Tottenham want to make sure he is 100 per cent right before he comes to us.
"We are disappointed that we haven't got another option because he's a good attacking player who could help us."

Hmm he does seem to pick up these injuries

Great to see Kane on the scoresheet, sure he is very high on confidence at the moment, long may it continue
