The official site could confirm his sale and people would still question what tier tottenhamhotspur.com is and whether "Club Statement" has good sources.

Well the amount of times I’ve read posts on here saying the we will lose him through lack of ambition……..I guess this will make the “I told you so brigade” happy ?

He's reportedly wanted / needed to leave in the summer, due to our lack of ambition, since his break through season. Unless he stays until retirement (almost no player stays at one club for their whole career) the speculative reports have to come true at some point.

I might be the only one but I’ve no problem with him going and wish him all the best.

For a few years now I’ve felt we rely on hIm too much and that His presence impedes our ability to bring in a second striker who he can rotate/compete with for a spot on the starting 11.

if we can get anywhere near the value he’s worth I say do it

You seem to be suggesting his departure will ease our way to signing a second striker that he can rotate with??? We won't be needing a second striker if he leaves, will we?

I'm also accepting it. I don't want him to leave, but eras come to an end. In football those eras can be very short, and sometimes not as successful as they deserve.

I'm cool with it. But he has to go to a club neigh on guaranteed trophies, and hopefully not in the Premier League. Definately not a London club.

im implying that by Harry not being at the club there won’t be as much of aa clear cut heirachy when we have two strikers at the club.

our striker situation is more akin with goalkeepering at the moment (Obvious no.1) whereas it should be a bit more equal

I wouldn't blame him at all. Like any of you, I'd hate to see him in the playing strip of any other premier League club but the guy needs to win trophies. Any player should want to win trophies and we are now at the beginning of another project so it's unlikely that we are going to be able to provide those for him in the short term.

A cursory read through the article and guess what? Not a single fucking quote. The usual 'sources close to' bullshit.

It's no so much us "providing" trophies for him, rather us helping him achieve those ambitions. We've dropped off and don't look like a top 4 team anymore. He still looks like and plays like a top 4 player though.

It should only be more equal if we had two players of his standard. Or we could play two strikers. This idea that he's holding back potential strikers is a bit weird, IMO, although the club has openly said similar things.

Well TBF there is no way that Kane is going to come out and say it publicly.

If Levy sells to a prem rival, what is the point of this club?
