I've heard Man City have pit in a multi-million pound offer for him.
They haven't.
Great minds eh Matty? ;-)I actually came into this thread to make a joke about his name. But more on the lines on spursgirls "hurricane" version.
Best name ever.
I was just thinking the same thing. One of those roll of the tonge footballer names.
Sure to be famous eh ??
Yup. Its a toss up as to whether it'll be due to him being a premier league footballer, WW2 spitfire pilot or a pornstar.
Harry Kane is primarily a second or deep lying striker, and an excellent prospect.
However, I'm pretty confident that Ryan Mason, who scored 29 goals in 31 games for our Academy last season in the second striker role, who recently made a successful debut for England U19, and is getting good reviews on loan at Yeovil, would be ahead of Kane in the pecking order if he was currently at Spurs.
Gio Dos Santos would also be ahead of him for a second striker role, if he was fit.
The good news is that we have so many good young players on the club's books. Another young striker who started for us last season, Jon Obika, is now playing for England U20s and is also on loan at Yeovil.
I'm sure 16-year-old Harry Kane will never forget last night, and hopefully he will continue to develop and get more opportunities in the future.
I'd have thought Parrett is even higher in that order?
It was a sunny morning with plenty of people about. We had Ferdinand, Sherwood and young Redknapp watching the first half with Allen and Harry joining for the second. Sir Les was told off for wearing a white top during the first half as he was in the linesman's eyeline.
My money's been on Mason for about 2 years, I'll actually feel a bit let down if he doesn't make it. Him and Townsend are the ones I have highest hopes for. I'll be sure to visit and u18 game soon to check out Kane.
