I don't think we'll see Kane make it at Spurs. He seems slow and not intelligent enough to cope without a burst of pace. Some will say I'm going on little evidence, but the lad's 19 years old, it's not like he's 15. His standard at the minute is League 1. I'm sure he can improve, but how much? I can see him as a good Championship player in the future, which isn't bad, just not the heights we are looking for.

I hope I'm wrong, obviously, but I just don't see him becoming anything at Spurs.

I haven't seen him enough to make that decision. Have you watched him on loan and in the XI games? I don't think a decision can be made on a handful of European games.

Why not? It's not like he's been unlucky or abit off the pace. He's been woeful in those handful of European matches. I agree he's done well in XI games, but what sort of opposition is that against?

I'd be confident to bet that he won't end up at Spurs.

He only turned 18 in July.

You are entitled to your view but I tend to disagree, when he was 16-17 he was a hit at Leyton Orient and the fans absolutely loved him. Ive got a few mates who go to Millwall every week and they said he was by far the best Millwall player on the pitch for both Birmingham & Dagenham & R games.

In the games I have seen him play he has looked sharp to me. He isnt blessed with blistering pace but he isnt slow either (he won a penalty through good movement in Europa & also was denied another blatant penalty). He won a penalty for Millwall the other night aswell so that seems to show that he has good movement and anticipation off the ball.

Also I think he has a nice touch & played some good balls in the games for us in the Europa, bearing in mind no one played great in those games.

Now dont get me wrong, im not saying he is going to be the next Messi or Ronaldo but I do think its way too early to be writing him off. Who knows he could have an amazing rest of the season down at Millwall & then get picked up by a Prem side next year and perform there.

Im hoping he ends up being a top player for us for years to come.

Shearer wasn't that quick, neither was Teddy, neither is Berbatov, neither is Van Nistelrooy...

Kane has talent, no doubt about it. I think he has more chance of making it at Spurs than Livermore tbh.

Woeful? Ha ha ha. I am pretty glad that our manager isn't as narrow minded as you, young un.

If Livermore can perform like he did against Everton on a regular basis when called upon he will make it, no doubt about it. Everybody needs one of those no fuss and low maintenance types in their camp. He's a local lad as well, have high hopes for him after the Everton game.

I mean to be involved regularly with the 1st team, I don't think Livermore is good enough.

I see more potential in Kane.

He's been mill walls best player since he signed, he has excelled at leyton orient a year ago and yet his standard is league 1

We don't seem to value the likes of O'Hara and Livermore, honest hardworking, home grown, not flashy.
I have watched Livermore since his goal against Barcelona with interest.
The Everton game where we were without Sandro and Parker was his coming of age for me.
Parker won't last that much longer, Ifear we will struggle to keep Sandro. Livermore could be a rock for us for several years if he continues to developwhich he will with the players he has got around him, including Parker and Modric.

For some reason I thought that Harry was older than 18. Still has another 2-3 years to develop.

It was mate, I was at the game, and he was the best player on the pitch. Ok Benny and VDV were good but it was Livermore who really stuck out in terms of controlling the middle of the park. That was the first time I really saw something in Livermore which made me think he could have a future here.

Ohara is slight different in that he likes to get forward more and create higher up the pitch, we have plenty of those types.

Livermore for me will turn out to be a very reliable squad player, and obviously the Club see it the same way...didn't he sign a new contract recently?

I think Kane has a far bigger gap to bridge than Livermore does in terms of competing for their respective positions in the squad...and its why Livermore is involved around the first squad and Kane isn't at the moment.

Kane is younger though, so he has time on his hands to make a case for himself.

Dear oh dear... the kid has a lot of potential, how about we give the kid another 3-4 years to develop and nurture him before writing him off?

It is well to remember that some of the Premierships greatest strikers weren't immediate hits, some didn't even start out with PL clubs. Teddy was lower division with Forest whilst Wright wasn't even playing as a full professional when Palace took the gamble. It was a few more years before the goons then took him just a little further.

My personal opinion is that Kane displays attributes that far exceed pace, these being intelligence, work rate and positional sense, not to mention the fact that he displays a clinical streak. These attributes, I believe, will see him advance far further than the 'pace' that many seem to believe is essential.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kane is a highly sought player in the next few years.

He's our Darren Fletcher and, as such, will always have a role to play within our squad. I reckon he'll get his fair share of starts, particularly if he can maintain the kind of level he displayed against Everton. If he's won the trust of Aitch then he'll contribute for sure.

I really haven't seen too much of Kane, but from the little I have seen he looks alright. What sort of goals does he score? I'm guessing he's more of a poacher than a 30 yard volley type.

I thought he was more of a Sherringham type (in style) or a number 10, not like a poacher etc...
