He should be dropped today. He won’t be.

Sums us up. Weak. At least have some bollox as a club to show this is unacceptable, whoever you are.

I just want a proper team, not Kane, son, lloris and 8 shitheaps. Leeds showed us exactly what a well coached team knowing their roles can do. If Kane goes, so be it, we move on as usual. Gutting but thanks for the memories and fuck you. And fuck you too levy for allowing this to happen on your watch.
My dads been saying to me for 3 years he thinks having Kane in the team is holding the team back because he is undroppable and team rely on him to much

The whole notion that he can leave with our best wishes after a job well done is fucking defeatist bullshit.

After multiple failed loans, we still rewarded him with a new contract and gave him the platform to become a global star. In that time he’s been rewarded with a stream of new contracts that now has him earning £200k+ per week. We smashed our entire wage structure for him.

He moans in the media about wanting to win trophies and yet we’ve given him the platform to compete for the biggest trophies available and he’s gone missing in every single one of those games.

If the media is to be believed, he first told the club he would be interested in a move away last year. He wasn’t even prepared to give Mourinho a chance. He essentially wanted out at the very first sign of trouble at this club.

He is 47 goals away from breaking a record nobody thought would be broken. Essentially he’s 47 goals away from being Tottenham Hotspur’s greatest ever player. Don’t forget this is a club he supports and says he loves.

Instead, he’d rather destroy the end of our season by selling himself in interviews and turn his back on us at the first sign of trouble and do a deal with the devil just for a trophy that would have very little significance for him personally. City are winning trophies with or without Harry Kane.

The guy doesn’t know what loyalty means. Fuck him.

Sad day if as JJ suspects, this is Harry’s last game for us.
Dispute all the bravado, he has been brilliant for us.
It is absolutely not at all on Kane that he missed out on a trophy with us. I still feel like we have wasted the opportunities and Harry’s one in a generation talent in particular. One or two quality signings and we would have a trophy I’m sure.
Only thing I can pin on Kane is playing the CL final if he wasn’t fit. That game was blown after 2 minutes anyway. The best Liverpool side was too good for us 9 times out of 10.

Different point, there is a big difference between being ambitious and sharing to achieve your ambitions.
Kane’s ambitions would be to win trophies. He will do that with City.
Being ambitious is going for something beyond your means. Huge difference.

Kane going to City will leave be hugely flat.
It’s been bad enough been a Spurs fan this last 25 years, regularly flattering to deceive.
This is a new low though.
No manager, losing one of the best forwards in world football, no direction or identity.

The day the ? died

Kane to Utd I’d be very cross and I wouldreally question that move.

Either way irreplaceable. We will struggle to sign half the talent/goals.

best we can hope for is a verygood CB, RB and hopefully a decent CM. And a bloody good clear out.

Burn it to the ground

Don't understand why people want him to go to City so much.

Yes their fans are entitled and smug but least they have earnt it. They took a big step back when Ferguson left but they have won FA and UEFA Cups. This year they are looking at 2nd and a UEFA Cup, things we can only dream of.

City are the absolute epitome of what's wrong with football and their fans are worse.

Can see him going to Man City for 4 seasons, win a bucket load of trophies ( we'll win fuck all during that time), then come back to us and break Greaves goalscoring record - a bit like how Sheringham came back after winning silverware at Man Utd.

He then might win the Europa Conference or League Cup with us.

What concerns me most about Kane leaving this summer and it seems inevitable now is that surely Son will get itchy feet.

Yes. Irrespective of whether he leaves this summer he should not be in the squad today at all. I understand, and share, his frustration but doing that interview prior to the end of the season was wrong and that should be recognised.
In reality I’m sure, unfortunately, he’ll start though..

This.

Unfortunately, IMO anyway, Mason has shown that he doesn’t have any bollocks when it comes to picking a staring 11.
